Iron Man Trailer Officially Online

Requires Quicktime. It's a LITTLE different from the other one, but basically just in the order things are presented (and a few new scenes are added, like Tony being injured, being captured, being told to make a weapon, also has Obadiah Stane looking at the original armor...or possibly the Iron Monger armor).

I didn't approve of Robert Downey being cast at first, and I'm happy to now say I've been proven wrong. I'm still not buying him completely, but he's not bad. I definitely have to see this.

Hm, this leaves me pretty excited. When I heard RDJ was cast for the role, I thought it was perfect. I actually saw pieces of the script a few weeks back, and based on that and this trailer, I'm really looking forward to it. I'd love to see a marvel movie that isn't a complete dud. I can't wait to see this!

Well, originally he had to build an armor for the Vietnamese. the US was just getting into the Vietnam War when Iron Man appeared in 1963. Using Vietnamese troops seemed dated so they used Afghanistan terrorists instead. Same concept. Just different groups forcing him to make a weapon.

That and he had to create an armor to sustain his life.
