Is a new town and underwater building enough to bring you back to Pokopia?

So unless you've been living under a rock for the past 12 hours (or you're just a really deep sleeper who went to bed right before the Nintendo Direct), you should've seen the news about the Pokopia V2.0 update and paid DLC.

So far, we know about:
  • The addition of the Dive move, allowing for undersea exploration and building, as part of the free Version 2.0 update
  • The new Bubbly Basin town, which appears to be post-apocalyptic Cerulean City, coming in Part 1 of the DLC
  • Unspecified new features and recipes coming in Part 2 of the DLC late this year
  • Another new town coming in Part 3 of the DLC in 2027
So what I want to know is.... for those of you who've already put the game down at this point (hopefully after already finishing the main story), is this enough to entice you to come back to the game? If not, what specifically would you need added in Parts 2 or 3 to get you to load it up again?

Yes!

I'm only taking a break right now because I played it to death and need a breather haha, but there are still things I want to do in Pokopia, like get my last few 'mons and decorate a bit more to my liking. So this upcoming update helps provide me with more energy to get that going again, I really like the concept of exploring underwater as well. Looking forward to going underwater and chatting with Pokémon there. \o/

I haven’t put it down yet So I will continue to monopolize the Switch 2 from my husband.
