Is anybody tired by the same old pikachu?

Do you think that they should make a new evolution for pikachu like how Kirlia can turn into a Gallade instead of Gardevoir. I think they should because i'm kind of tired of always seeing the same old pikachu but that's just me.

I've barely seen any pikachu. I mean I caught a few in the yellow forest, and I think I've seen a few trainers with one, but typically pikachu is really rare.

Anime-wise, no, he's the mascot and I like his personality.

Game-wise, no, if Pikachu gets a branched evolution then all the "old, and boring" RBY Pokemon should get one, too.

Besides, we're now in the fifth generation. I think GF would've made the changes by now.

It wasn't unintentional by any means. Even before the anime, Pikachu was in a bunch of concept artwork alongside Red. It's always been intended as the mascot.

Why? Raichu and LO Pikachu have stats that are perfectly all right. The only time GF made a new evo for a Pokemon that honestly didn't need one was Rhyperior, and that was only to highlight its new ability.

Look how well that one turned out.

May I ask as to why? I don't think that they do any harm...

Anyway onto thread. I am sick of Pikachu in general and would maybe like a different main mascot. Stuff such as the Yellow Forest Pokéwalker course annoy me as attention could be going to other Pokés.

No to the split evo. Or a hypothetical forme.
