Is anyone else aggravated by the fact Ash has lost his maturity in BW?

Since the beginning of the show Ash has progressed and shown decent character development, I think. But, all of a sudden it like died in BW. And no, this isn't meant to be another "reboot thread", trust me, that's the last thing I want to discuss. I just find it irritating how like all his character development got tossed down the drain,

. But, it's really upsetting to people who have been keeping up with the series since the get-go, like a lot of us. Do you even think that Ash is acting differently? If so, how do you think so? I think he is acting like a completely new character as a whole. He doesn't even seem like rebooted as people say, even Kanto Ash was more mature, I think. New Ash irks me. I don't know why but BW Ash really vexes me...He's really... weird and very immature and just not Ash. I don't know, it's hard to explain. What are your thoughts?
