O.K, i'm no "movie-phycic" or anything, but my beleifs in movie 11 is either girtina, shaymin, arceus, or any combination of the 3.
As stated in bulbacast multiple times, and probably around the forum somewhere, it's been mentioned that pokemon franchise movies follow the same pattern as star trek movies:every odd numered movie is bad, OR, every OTHER movie is good.(for the record this started for the pokemon franchise after movie 2.) if arceus/shaymin is in movie 11(probably shaymin, they'll probably reveal them in order, not to mention 12 to me is sort-of a godly number, so arceus is probably in 12)but either way, is nintendo or whoever the heck is in control of the movies going to stop sinnoh movies there? obviously if they're going in order, after 12, the next gen is up. so what room is left for cresselia, giratina, heatran, regigigas, uxie and azelf?
mesprit is obviously going toi be a recurring topic, since dawn saw it at the begging of her quest, just as ho-oh became a recurring topic with ash at the beggining of his journey. And going back to hoenn, jirachi movie 6 was the closest to a groudon movie were ever going to get, and yet they managed to make a 2-part special about team magma, team aqua, kyorge, and groudon. are they going to do the same thing with diamond and pearl?(for the record, i thought i just might contribute this:i watch the dub, but occasionally i will watch a japanese ep.) and if they do do this with diamond and pearl, palkia and dialga are gonna' get their own movie, what does that lave for giratina?
him and the other legendaries seem to important to me to make anime specials for. sorry to ramble but let me know what YOUR opinions are, and for those of you who just read this, thank you for taking the time to read mine.

Uh....no. Some movies are better than others, but it doesn't follow any "set" pattern.

As for how the rest of the D/P legends will be featured, I imagine the "event Pokemon" will be the main feature of the next few movies, because this is how they're revealed in Japan.

Well, it's pretty appearant movie 11 will feature Shaymin and movie 12 Arceus imo.

With Shaymin being naturey and stuff, I'd imagine we will get a movie 4-like plot. So... how about Heatran as the opposing force? It is a volcano legendary, after all.

The lake trio could appear with Arceus, since it supposebly created them and all that. Dialga and Palkia could make small cameos or mentions... With Giratina allegedly going to be the third of the dragons, it can appear in a large role.

From there, I'd like to imagine D/P as lasting five summers. Well gen 1 was two movies, gen 2 was three, and gen 3 was four, so why not!? :p It's probably not going to happen, but that doesn't really matter.

I think I would like for a movie featuring on the four Regis. And another starring... everyone else. Which would be Cresselia, Phione, and Raikou. Well, it's be fun to see them try to make those three connected in some way at least. Hmm, maybe make the "other" one movie 13 and the Regis appear along with a fifth gen legendary.

So, in summarization:
D/P Movie 1: Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai
D/P Movie 2: Heatran, Shaymin
D/P Movie 3: Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Giratina, Arceus
D/P Movie 4: Raikou, Cresselia, Phione
D/P Movie 5: Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regigigas, 5th gen legendary

It probably would have been better for the first D/P movie to feature Cresselia and Darkrai... :l

I find it hard to imagine that we'll get 5 D/P movies.

4 1/2 years from now will be 2011...we're bound to be getting the 5th gen around that time.

There are a lot of legendaries this gen, and some are bound to be shafted. Phione is screwed of course, but I wonder if some of the others won't get a movie debut.

Hell, Movie 9 could technically be considered a D/P movie despite using the AG cast. It aired during the last 10 episodes of Battle Frontier, it just barely missed the transition to D/P.

After all, it was mainly about Manaphy and Kyorge was just thrown in at the last minute.

Yeah, that was weird....

Having not read any spoilers or anything (I never do that), I did not expect to see Kyogre in the 9th movie.

I mean, when it showed up I was totally surprised, "Woah! It's Kyogre! O.O".

Of course, the 9th movie had many Water Pokemon in it, and I guess I should've expected to see Kyogre. But still, in a way it seemed like the writers randomly threw it in there, just to help everyone out. XD

What, are you crazy? Of course they do. The odd-numbered ones deliberately suck more than the even-numbered ones. It's a marketing strategy.

(XD)

Strangely, in my opinion, that rings truth for the Pokémon movies. Weirdly, I just happen to prefer all the even-numbered movies over the odd ('cept for the first). I think that's quite hilarious, really.

The same thing happened with Movie 5. Technically a Pokemon movie, but really more like an Advanced Generation movie.

Anyone think while Heatran, Arceus, Shaymin, Crescellia will probably get their own movies, the trio will be used in the Anime...especially if Galatic does appear?

That's a good point. If P.U.S.A.(lol pusa) does make the trio into a special along with dialga palkia, not only would they probably throw in giratina, BUT, it would be following the same scheme as ag with the 2 part "gaining groudon" special.

First off, PUSA does not make the episodes. Even the Mastermind Special was done by a Japanese Team.

Second of all, the two part Gaining Groudon wasn't a special...just two connected episodes which were pretty lame.

Not ALL of the odd-numbered movies sucked. I enjoyed the 5th movie. The movie that probably sucked most was the 4th.

The 7th movie was the worst, IMO.

Tory was arguably the worst movie character in existance, and the plot was nonsensical, especially when they filled the latter half of the movie with those robot faces.

And most odd numbered movies were good. Movie 1, 3 and 9 were pretty good.

9 was just 6 with May instead of Max. And I found it kind of boring. Especially after 8, which moved me to tears.

It had pirates, though, which was kind of cool, I guess.

Movie 9 is nothing like Movie 6, the entire story, villains, tension, etc. was completely different. The May/Manaphy dynamic is widely considered one of the best dynamics in Pokemon.

Although I agree that it did have some pacing problems, particularly the middle dragged.

And its no surprise that Pie of all people doesn't like a movie that mostly centered around May, were you one of those bitter people upset that May got a movie about water Pokemon instead of Misty? :D

I always find it amusing that Movie 9 could have been technically Misty's dream movie....but she wasn't on the cast at the time, so too bad.

Or are you upset about Brock's lack of screentime in the movie, although he does virtually nothing in almost every Pokemon movie anyway? :D

Ah, I love the smell of bitterness in the late afternoon.

7 and 4 seem to be the most hated by the fanbase.

Movie 1 tends to be the most overrated, despite it being pretty lame bar the fact they referenced things from the series.

And Movie 8 is generally seen as the best, which I think it deserves it.
