Is Conway an older Max?

How many of you think that Conway was just a way of giving fans some insight as to how Max may end up when he is old enough to become a trainer?

They look alike and are similar in many ways. Like the two of them not using improvisation with attacks moves. In “Gonna rule the school” Max used Poliwag against a Magby, but instead of using Water moves to his advantage, he used Defense Curl/Belly Drum instead.

Conway underestimated Dawn’s skills during “Camping it Up!” The two are very alike in many ways, but after seeing Ash use his head to make up moves I think that Max knows more about real life experience/going by your gut feeling than Conway. Wonder if Conway and Ash will battle in the Sinnoh League?
 
No. Just because Max and Conway are really smart when it comes to Pokemon doesn't mean that they're the same person.
 
Oh no, I know that they are not the same person. I just found it interesting that they are so similar. I mean Max is still too young to become a trainer and this I know for a fact. I just think that the writers made Conway as a gift to fans who wanted to see Max as a trainer. I think that Conway and Ash will battle in the league. This could be a reference to the battle that Ash promised Max when he first becomes a trainer.

Conway is a Super Nerd and Max is a School Kid. Max will grow up to be a Super Nerd.

God what happened to Max to turn into a teenage guy who stalks Dawn.

The idea of Conway being Max from the future is actually creepier that Conway itself. Skin, anytime you want to start crawling is fine with me...

They have their similarities, yes, but both are actually very different. Max is a little kid and Conway is a trainer. Max studies Pokemon and Conway...err...stalks Dawn. YAY for HeatTagSHipping!!
