I was wondering what you all think about the game ? Personally i liked Silver/gold back then because it had 16 gyms and 2 differant elite four. Is it like this in this game also ?

The only things i dont like about the game is maybe the lack of numbers when it comes to the pokemon. I liked Diamond and Plat because you could litterally catch every pokemon you wanted almost even before going to the elite four.

In these remakes you got like what 240 pokemon ? While most of my fav are first and 2nd gen pokemon still. What do you guys think.

Oh and btw is there a way to trade pokemon from your diamond or plat to this after you get the national dex ? Or do you still need like 2 ds's.. ?

I have the original DS the big fat one, since all i play are pokemon on handhelds these days dont see the point in buying another DS or these newer ones with big screens.. My Original DS will play this game right ?

Oh another thing, does the GTS work correctly in these new remakes ? Platinum had a major problem with it to where you couldnt find any pokemon in the GTS unless they were specificly the level you picked.. Seems like everyone had that bug, diamond was fine i just hope this issue is not on the new ones.

Are there any new rules or moves for the pokemon in this game or will my giant book i bought for platinum that has all 490 ish pokemon still be accurate as far as it comes to breeding and moves learned.

Thanks all

You can play on your old DS.
You still needs two DSs to trade.
These games have a lot of Pokemon still, I don't know how many, but more than enough for me.
They are definitively worth buying.

Ill go to another forum.. If this is the answer im going to get.... lol Thanks zorua:zzz:

Oh yeah, I forgot the main answer. Yes.

But you're going to get the same answer wherever you go. There will always be a lot of people who liked them, but a small portion that don't. Think for yourself.

I say the games are awesome, the best of the DS. Happy?

There's an error in your post, CMC... There's only one E4, not two different E4 teams.

The level moves are learned at (and in some extreme cases, their movepool) so the platinum guide won't help you much there.
Also, you better be prepared for the 3DS, since it seems you don't go along with the cutting edge.

I think they're just as entertaining as D/P and Platinum, if not more, but that's just my opinion. If you played the originals, then I think you'll like these.

A definite YES. You do realize that you'll get this answer in any Pokemon forums right?

Cutting Edge????

What does not buying a DS Lite/DSi have to do with being Cutting Edge?

They're the same exact systems!!! [oh, wait - the DSi can download poor graphics flash games and lacks a GBA slot]

& don't get me started on the DS Lite hinges...

On Topic:

Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSivler definitely have the nostalgia of the Original Gold and Silver. They also add a lot of new features.

I'm a casual gamer that gets frustrated easily - Pokemon SoulSilver's easy learner curve yet clever challenges never had me throwing the DS at a wall [...that might be why my DS Lite's hinges break]

Did you get Platinum yet?

I played SoulSilver and liked it so much I went out and bought Platinum!
