Is it a Good Assumption to think a New Pokemon/s will be Revealed Next Month?

Ever Since March I have said that they probably won't Reveal a New Pokemon till May at the Earliest so this Month not Revealing one wasn't much of a Shock to me however I would like to know what the General Fandom think's?
Will they Reveal a New Pokemon/s Next Month or atleast their Silhouette?
However they may follow DP's Example by Releasing the First Non-Debut Pokemon in June.
I personally hope we get a New Pokemon Next Month or atleast a Silhouette/Hint.
Thoughts?
 
Well, supposedly something is being revealed on the website on the 15th of this month, but it might just be more of the same shots that were in CoroCoro.
 
All 100 of the new Gen 5 Pokemon will be revealed on May 5th 2010. Errbody know that...


But seriously I hope that we get some information soon. The launch of new pokemon games is really exciting.
 
For comparison, the first two issue of DP in CoroCoro didn't reveal any new Pokemon. Then again we already had a couple Pokemon by then, like 9 or so. It wasn't till the July issue that we began to get new Pokemon, starting with Dialga, Palkia, Cherrim, Drapion, and Pachirisu. Every issue after that had new Pokemon in it. The next one had the starters, Electivire, and Roserade. And the final one before the release was a blow-out of like...12 or so Pokemon such as Bidoof, Burmy, and Kricketot.
 
Well, honestly, I don't know what to expect. I was expecting what we got this month in May, but now it's occurred one month earlier than I expected. This certainly gives them more time to focus on whatever else this game has to offer. I did not pay attention to months when analyzing the Ru/Sa development. All I know is that normally, once screens are revealed, if new pokemon are revealed, they're either the starters and legends, or something completely random. They're no longer associated to a movie. I've been hesitant to call whether or not we've seen all we're going to see in terms of Movie 13 and new pokes. (the chances are very remote, but still plausible) I'll give that until whenever we see the new trailer, and/or until we have a better scope on what pokemon are present. As for whether or not we'll see pokemon next month, I'll have to say "if they feel like it". The things revealed to us after the first screens don't usually have much to do with new pokemon, but rather the human characters and perhaps the region itself. It is still up in the air whether or not we're getting the protagonists this month or the next, but regardless of that, we're seeing the professor next. We won't see boxart until they can cement the exact release date, and that won't happen for a while. (certainly not next month, that'd be silly) You can also just completely disregard everything I just said since this month has already proven I could be wrong. I was only expecting titles, not both the titles AND screens. Based on that, what if they pull something that's supposed to happen later up in the queue again? Then we'll definitely see some kind of pokemon. With the fact that D/P reversed the order that Ru/Sa presented the starters and legends, it could be either of those, but that is usually the first thing they go for after the first screens. My money is on legends over starters, not just because of D/P's development, but because of the circumstances that revealed Ru/Sa's starters. (Note: I know I just said I wouldn't expect boxart that soon, but I know the legends are usually revealed with the boxart, so this pretty much makes my own speculation null and void) I don't see that happening again since the DP anime was kept almost a complete secret from us until the last second. AG was revealed to us very early, which gave us the starters early as well. I am not sure why they did that and kept DP secret from us later. My guess is that they were stoked to have a new title for the anime, and that this was the one that shook the formula. Not only was Ash starting over, but he had a new traveling companion as well, which brought a new quest to the anime. DP really didn't have anything compelling to show us early on. In fact, they showed us the one thing early that was interesting: Paul. In both cases, early previews of the anime gave us new pokemon to anticipate, so I look forward to that. (That usually doesn't happen until the last month) What will the new saga have to show us? I honestly don't know. I don't think we're going to see anything about that any time soon, though, as I would really expect us to be in the league before they start telling of a new saga.

Next month I would think. That's the june edition. If we are getting the game in the fall, it would make sense to reveal then.
 
Didn't we learn about a few Gen. IV Pokémon through toy/other merch shows last time around? Hopefully someone's keeping an eye on those. But other than that, yeah, our only chance of seeing new Pokémon this month is probably PS, though I'm still hopeful regarding the site (which will open up tomorrow afternoon/night!).

I think that "?" is the Celebi giveaway for the 13th movie...I really think we'll get a couple Pokemon this Thursday in Japan or Wednesday our time. :D
 
I'd like them to keep the cover Pokémon a secret until pre-orders open (Didn't HGSS's open in July?), until then, give us silhouette of the new Bidoof next month, and reveal it month after that. That's all we need.

To be honest, I hope they reveal as little Pokémon as possible prior to release, so that even the Japanese fans (not just the nerdy Westerners) can discover most of them by playing through the games.
 
To be fair, the number revealed to us prior to release IS usually but a small fraction of the total number present.
