I've been wondering about this for along time. I've been wondering because I've seen a bunch of people do it, but don't want to get an infraction of any sort for updating my fic. Please help me!
 
iirc, and I'm not a mod, so don't quote me on this. But I think it says that if it isn't within 3 hours, and you are updating your fanfiction with a new chapter, then it's fine.
