*Some spoilers may occur, but I tried not to put any in*

Hey guys

Recently I was given a box set of anime classics, 1 of the 3 movies was Ninja Scroll. At first I was hesitant about watching it, as I had heard disturbing reports about it, (involoving trees roots, and female samurai *shudder*) however nothing of that nature came up, and some of the fight scenes, (namely the one in the bamboo forest against the blind ninja) seemed cut short.

My long winded question is, where the people who told me this talking about the original Japanese version, or the TV series, or where they just pulling my chain?

Cheers Liam, (I hope this question doesn't sound weird)

....that's odd, I seem to remember the dubbed version not being all that significantly cut, even though done by Manga in the early 90's. Though, I was 14 or so the last time I saw it, and what I'd consider extreme then would hardly be extreme to me now.

*shrugs*

Umm... "Don't think I won't mind raping a dead girl" doesn't imply "Toned down" to me. ^_^

Did Tessai really say that? Well I don't know what the hell that guy was talking about then, I guess he was talking about a different movie or something.

TBH, it was very violent, and I'm extremely glad that nothing else really nasty happened.

Well, thanks for the answers

Threatening to kill Kagero if she resisted, IIRC... (Of course, living or dead, it's rather dumb to rape her... I haven't seen it in ages.)

Yes, someone described Kagero to me as, a "killer lay", lol. Yeah, that's right, he did say it, after capturing her I think.
