Is there any difference between the scripts of the English and the Japanese version?

Re: Is there any difference between the scripts of the English and the Japanese versi

Nob Ogasawara said at one point that the Japanese games do get a lot more... uhm... PG-13 than the English. Like the sneezing hiker on Route 10, who is high as a kite in Japan, or the guy who gives you nuggets is actually saying "here, touch my two golden balls" in Japan.

Excellent. I hope I'll see similar jokes in HGSS.

I'll be ordering HG in Japanese this time.

So much for "nuggets of wisdom". :p

All I know was edited, outside of the Something Awful and Internet references in Gen 4, which were, well, awful, there's also the fact that the old man in Viridian City was actually drunk when he's blocking the way. Now you know where Missingno. comes from.

And in Gen 4, they removed the reference to humans marrying Pokémon in the past, which was clear in the japanese version. It's Sinnoh's Folk Story 3 in the Canalave Library. Now they just said some humans grew "really close" to Pokémon. lol
