I got a Dialga from the GTS this evening. It's level 100...all it knows is Scary Face. It's OT is "PRA". And it's location is "Concert Event". I'm confused. I don't think it's legit. What is this Concert Event? .-.

There's only one concert event, to my knowledge, and the event Pokémon distributed was a Perap, IIRC.

I thought so...Oh well. I got it for an extra Registeel I had anyway. And last night I got another Dialga for a Turtwig. I know this one is legit. As it's from the Spear Pillar and it has the Adamant Orb. I guess I'll trade this one on the GTS or something.

I wouldn't say a trade like that is legit. Chances are he either hacked it in that way, or he cloned an existing Pokemon. :p Either way, it's not legit.

I don't understand why people go on the GTS asking for legendaries and expect to get legitimate trades. You're not going to get them (legitimately) unless you're trading with a 5 year old who doesn't know any better, lol. And besides, whether it's hacked or not, it can be done in such a way that you wouldn't be able to tell, so why worry about it? ;) You got a Dialga. So it's hacked. Big deal. It's just bytecode anyway, lol.

I see offers like that often. I saw one today for a Palika. They wanted a level 100 Teddiursa.

Yeah, there is pokesav, which lets you edit your save game however you want.

I'd trade away Legendaries for starters. Legendaries suck. They're overpowered, don't evolve, usually too high to level up, and are just plain boring. The only fun part is catching them. At least you can use regular Pokemon without feeling guilty.

Traded my lvl48 Dialga for a lvl100 Torterra on the GTS. ;D

EDIT: Also, does anyone know how these people set up a machine to give away Pokemon?

Well...I guess it was legit. I just traded it for a Celebi. Since the GTS stops you from trading hacked Pokemon with "You can't trade this Pokemon!"

Now we can all have a good laugh! :D

No, the GTS only stops badly hacked Pokémon from going through, but I'm numerous hacked Pokémon get into and out of the GTS successfully.

Hmm...

Yeah, the GTS can be stupid, but seriously, that's weird. I'm sorry to say, but I think you've been ripped off.
