Well I got a Spiritomb. On it's profile page, it said "Link Trade" and "Egg Obtained." The egg obtained message is a bit weird because it usually says "egg recieved."

Now that wasn't enough to make me jump to conclusions, but I bred it, both children wound up a female, like the mother. I thought it was just a coincidence, but when I put one of Spiritombs eggs up for trade, and checked it's summery, it turned into a Houndour with a Dawn Stone!!!

Is this Spiritomb hacked or a glitch in the GTS?

EDIT: Now it seems to have turned back into a Spiritomb, but I still wonder if such a thing could be the product of a hacker, or if the GTS was just seriously glitched up.

I don't know, but it sounds weird. You bred it, right? Then at least you didn't lose your only Spiritomb.
 
Despite the fact that it transformed back into a spiritomb, it has now been deleted from the GTS, and I remain Loppuny-less.

I also keep getting communication error messages. My wifi connection also seems to be really bad since I recieved that original spiritomb.

When trying to log in, I keep getting the error code for fire walls blocking me from wifi despite already allowing access. Now I have the Wifi server is down code. This could contribute to my spiritomb's disapearance/deletion before, bu now I wonder if this had caused a mass deletion of sorts.

EDIT: A New area has also been registered on the Geonet, which is strange because I had not had a single trade in the GTS.

EDIT: Everything seems to have been caused by a major glitch on the GTS. I logged in again and Loppuny was found.

I've actually put pokemon I caught myself up on the GTS and have seen the same thing. A Stunky turned into Medicham once, but when I checked again it changed back. Another time, when I was requesting a Burmy, the pokemon I put up changed, and at one point disappeared, then came back when I checked again. Keep checking, the Spiritomb will probably reappear.

Edit: Oh, didn't see your edit, but yeah, this isn't just a recent thing, it's been happening, to me at least.

I don't have wifi yet, ill get it soon.
 
It's nice to know I'm not insane. I'm wondering why my wifi was being blocked by my Firewall yesterday, and now works completely fine. I'm still wondering if my original Spiritomb is hacked though. It says "Link Trade" where you would normally see the area you catch it in, something I've only seen from ingame trades, then again it also says "egg obtained" in the next line.

Can anyone confirm if that is the message you recieve from obtaining an egg through a trade? All the other Pokemon I got from the GTS said "Daycare" and "Egg Recieved"
 
Well I've got an Ivysaur here with me on my game that I got through a trade with a good friend as a Bulbasaur egg. It's info page reads:

Link trade
Egg obtained.

That is indeed the info you get when you get an egg via a wi-fi trade. So your original Spiritomb is fine :3

As for the GTS thing, yeah, it seems to glitch up sometimes, especially recently, it's happened to a lot of friends of mine (*They also get Houndours holding Dawn Stones while having Spiritombs up for offer*) but as far as I can tell the thing changes back soon after. I had a Spiritomb up for trade earlier today and it dissapeared, so I disconnected and re-connected to the Wi-fi and it re-appeared again.
 
I was gonna ask what you offered it for, but that wouldn't be a reason for you to be upset, and you said earlier that you still hadn't gotten Lopunny. I'll tell my friend about the GTS not working, he was getting mad because it wasn't working yesterday. My friend also just has to re-install the Wi-Fi every time he shuts off the computer, otherwise the firewall blocks it.
 
I'm glad to know that all is right with the world, and the GTS only seems to be blocked by my firewall every other time I use it.

Actually, that's quite common if you keep your Pokemon on Wi-Fi too long (such as a day or three). It somehow looses the data after a while, so it's a good idea to continually check on it.

As for the Pokemon being "glitched," the same thing happened to my bro. He put up a Pokemon for trade, and when he checked on it, it became something totally different... But when he came back about an hour or so later, it was perfectly fine.
It was traded sometime that day, so it's all good.
 
Yikes.

A Surskit once disappeared altogether for me after only half a day, and I've been careful about the GTS ever since.
