Island Academy *start up*

Moving on... This is based about a week prior of the school year. The start-up starts off by everyone getting to school and meeting their peers! Carry on!

Red was on the boat, she smelled the fresh air of the sea as they neared Island Academy. She couldn't wait, she was going to get her first pokemon and get to figure out what the ocean was like! She honestly didn't know how to swim but being the adventurous person she was, she didn't care. She looked at the beauty of the calm blue crystal waters and watched as goldeen and magikarp swam by.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

Venn stood at the dock with his Ampharos out of it's Pokeball, waiting for the new students as he wasn't busy. His Ampharos, Bolt, was standing there staring over the horizon to his right, the orbs in his tail and on his forehead bright with excitement, and Venn's hand on Bolt's head, inbetween the ears.

 

[Milo†icgirl McQüeen]

"Hey wait for me!" shouted a female voice. Out on the sea approaching fast was a bluiesh woman riding on a Milotic. "I hope you weren't going to start without me and Lily, Venn" said the woman who had reached the bay and stood next to Venn. She let Milotic slither round her.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"Why of course not Stacy. What would I be starting? No students have arrived yet." Venn chuckled to the woman, as Bolt moved from under his hand to go play with her Milotic. "Have you already got all your class schedules and everything set up?"

 

[Milo†icgirl McQüeen]

"Yes we all know the type of person you like to be!" Stacy pointed her finger towards Venn. "Perfectionist and demanding are just two words that spring to mind however yes I have planned all my schedules." Lily unwound herself from Stacy to go by Bolt.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"Demanding? Perfectionist? What do you speak of? I prefer the words "Responsible" and "One who has high expectations." Venn chuckled back, knowing the words to be true, although leniency was allotted towards students.

"Amph?" Bolt asked, indicating that it would like to have a little race, to the student dorms down the shore.

 

[Milo†icgirl McQüeen]

"Well I believe in contrary. Students need free will to progress as well as comfortable boundaries so they can learn themselves. Were not going to be foloowing them when they leave" said Stacy wiggling her finger at Venn.
"Furthermore, coming from Mr. Responsible shouldn't Ampharos know better to not run on campus!" Stacy chuckled at Venn and called Milotic back next to her.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"Then they will be getting those comfortable boundaries and free will in your class won't they? Not that I plan on being totalitarian, and I believe the best learning environment is under pressure. And to answer that question, there aren't even any students, or even teachers out besides us. What would it matter?" He asked, chuckling. "Bolt, come on back. Miss Scold over here doesn't think we should be running on campus."

"ROS?!" Bolt replied, his eyes wide, implying a completely surprised "WHAT?!"

"Mr.Sarcasm is what the student's Pokemon are going to call you, I swear...." Venn laughed.

 

[Milo†icgirl McQüeen]

"Sure turn them into mindless robots. They're just kids many of them starting out new. They need love and compassion. Plus if you show them that they'll like you and respect you instead of them bickering behind your back at what a egotistic person you are."
Stacy walked closer to the dock as the boat got closer.
"Well let's leave the battle of scrooge versus santa for later and give a good example in front of the pupils, which you might find a bit of a challenge."

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"HAHAHAHAHA, Scrouge versus Santa. Both EXTREME exaggerations. I will obviously be the 'cool' teacher. I plan on starting a battle CLUB. And wait to judge how I teach until it begins, a week from now. However, it is getting late, and the students will probably want to be getting to sleep when they get here. Maybe we should make them do push ups instead." Venn laughed, his Bolt chiming in with a little bit of laughter too, "Amamamama!"

 

[Milo†icgirl McQüeen]

"Well Mr.Cool just remember I'll always be here to take care of all the little children that are stressed and cracked due to your over pressure beliefs. Also your battle club would be nothing huge without my Arts class."
Milotic decided to go for a quick nap as it wasn't worth to hear the two teachers bicker.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"Again, you may want to wait to judge my tactics until school starts." Venn replied, wagging his finger. "Also, if they choose Pokemon wisely, they may not even NEED Art class. However, I could use help learning my rest, as I often suffer from Insomnia." Venn replied, starting to move away from the bicker-sation. Bolt nodded, also wanting to learn Rest.

"Well know who's coming to me and just because your older doesn't mean your wiser."
Stacy had woke up Milotic and curled her around her body so her hand was in the perfect place to stroke her.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"I never said I was wiser. And yes, I'm going to you. Now help me out, I'm tired." Venn whined jokingly. Bolt saw Lily wrapped about Stacy and getting pet, and got slightly jealous, and so went over to Venn, and being a full foot shorter then him at 4'6", hugged him, Bolt's neck curling around Venn's body, taking another 6 inches off of height, so he was hugging him around the waist, as Venn pet his back, chuckling.

"Well you could jump over the dock and stay underwater until you can't breathe. That'll make you sleep with the fishes. Plus I'd recommend you lear Sleep Talk as well it already goes with that big mouth of yours!" shouted Stacy.
She looked at Ampharos struggling to be loved.
"Aww poor dear come here," said Stacy who shook her hand up and down, beckoning Ampharos to come next to her.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

"Amffff........" Bolt whined, who would have originally been unwilling simply because of the slight argument his trainer had just been having with her, but was no slightly afraid after she yelled at Venn, and Bolt was also comfortable in the position, despite the appearance. "If you could, that would be cool. But I prefer not to sleep where I could possibly be attacked by Gyarados." Venn replied, pretending not to notice her sarcasm, trying to keep things pleasant.

"Well a toast to try to make another year without us fighting even thought it ends when the first bell rings!"
She looked at Ampharos and felt sympathy. The poor pokemon needed proper petting. She ran to it and stroked it under it's chin and massaged it's forehead around the ball.

Before Bolt could pull away, startled by how quickly she got there to pet him, he was absorbed in how amazing it felt. He still preferred his onw trainer, but his opinion on this teacher just got better.

"I think Bolt is starting to like you. Hmm." Venn smiled, as a boat came near, Bolt's head and tail orb glowing bright.

"Well you should treat your pokemon with compassion. Too bad you didn't know where to pet your Ampharos!"
Lily had moved herself near to the dock as the boat was edging closer.
"Anyway I think somebody need's compassion to get them out of their hard nutshell. Here tell me, Venn did you ever have a bad moment growing up as a kid?" She looked at Ampharos whilst speaking.

 

[NinjaGnomie]

Venn laughed, "No, I'm not IN a hard nut shell. That 'hmm' was a 'hmm, wierd' not an angry 'hmm.' But yes, I didn't know where to pet him, however, I do now, so thank you." Bolt's light was growing brighter and brighter, as it stood up straight from enjoyment. The boat could definitely see him, how bright he was now.
