Spin-Off It's a Snap!

I will break you.

But because JLPQ did it below, and I didn't want to add a new post, My List:

1. Final Fantasy XIII
2. Halo Reach
3. Portal 2
4. Half-Life Episode 3
5. Starcraft 2
6. Super Mario Galaxy 2
7. Zelda Wii
8. Mass Effect 3
9. Battleblock Theater (The Behemoth's followup to Castle Crashers)
10. The myriad, numerous PS3 games that I am now capable of playing with my new PS3.
10+n+1, where n is the number of PS3 games in the previous item. A full-on, balls to the way, completely immersive Pokemon console RPG.

... (more list here)

10+n+x+1, where n is the number of PS3 games in the previous item and x is any other bullshit I can't think of right now. Pokemon Snap 2, IF they include all 493 in the game.

I will be perfectly honest, in order of games here are what I want-

1. Pokemon Snap 2
2. Pokemon Stadium 3
3. Pokemon Gen V Normal Handheld RPGs

From the outset, Nintendo's plan was to release a N64 Pokémon RPG (or rather a 64DD game, if to be technical). Stadium, Snap and Hey You Pikachu! are the games we got instead, although Nintendo never publicly explained their change of heart. The GameCube RPGs were a return to form, but then that was changed again with Generation IV and the Wii.

Granted, there could very well be more than one Wii game for Generation V. But until another RPG has been released, I am not the least bit concerned with the fate of the other genres.

I guess I should go ahead and add that at the very top of my list would be a normal RPG on a console by GameFreak like Pokemon 64 was to be, although I doubt it will happen. I enjoyed the Orre series but it hardly felt like Pokemon, I'm all for a darker plot but everything about it felt like "edgy action JRPG with Pokemon cameos!"

Junichi Masuda has recently stressed that moving to the Wii is not an option for the main series, so the decision regarding another RPG is in Genius Sonority's hands (although it is no doubt dictated by Nintendo and the Pokémon Company). It is because there is much room for improvement with Colosseum and XD that I'd be very interested in a sequel, as those games certainly had the right potential.

Yeah, I remember the Masuda statement, that's why I said I doubt it would every happen =( and I kind of agree with you on the Orre sequel, if done right a sequel to those games would be quite interesting. I felt the first game (never picked up the second) was a bit too linear and generic in many ways, but I did like the darker storyline and the concept. I'm just a bit biased because I know at one point or another we were going to get some sort of epic console RPG by the real devs themselves and it fell through. In the event they do make a good Wii game, I'm going to have to save up because my Wii is whack, I don't know what the hell happened to it but it won't read discs 9/10ths of the time, it won't turn on sometimes at random, freezes when you go to the shop channel and randomly freezes in the middle of any game and screeches. It also deleted all my games a year ago and came from the box with no ability for online, a problem fixed by Nintendo, who deleted all my save files in the process...

I was so impressed with PBR that to this day I still don't have a Wii. You can tell that I really liked that game.

I do wish that Nintendo would confirm Wii-3DS compatibility sooner rather later. It is almost a given, but I'd like to be on the safe side of things, since I do believe that the third game will be designed for that system (although it could still be playable on the DS). I wouldn't want to see the new console game become outdated by the time the third game came along.

Pokemon snap was fun. I used to go to this kid's house just to play it.
Hmm..yeah I'd like another RPG on the console also.

I'd like to see a new snap. Would be cool. Although maybe a function to move around freely would be cooler (coming to close chases a pokémon away), as that can make it trickier to see certain pokémon.

A new snap, but better. Snap was fun, but it was jsut to short.

I would want a new Pokemon Snap only if it took more than a couple hours to finish

More like Snap needs a sequel. Snap was a gorgeous game as is, I don't want to play it all again in 360 graphics. I just want a new game in the series, and a new Snap Station promotion to go with it.

Pokemon Snap!

Visit scenic locations and famous landmarks in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh!

Take photos of your favorite Pokemon! All 493 of them (plus extra).

Use the intuitive Wiimote controller to snag the perfect shot!

Clonk more Pokemon on the head with apples!

Does anyone remember the Pokemon Snap booths at Blockbuster where you could print out stickers of the photos you took? I used to love that...

A sequel would have been nice....10 years ago. I always thought they'd make one, but I guess I was wrong.

Snap was a GREAT game! I remember I would always make the electabuzz fall on the tracks so I could run over him just cuz I couldn't catch him... Good times, good times...
