Please disregard my previous thread due to my ignorence of smogon univesity.:dumb:dont worry though i think i have a better team now with mabey one exeption.

Tentecruel
Calm
Choice Specs
252 HP/120 Def/136 SpD
Toxic Spikes, Rapid Spin, Giga Drain, Ice Beam
This is my lead and is ment mainly to lay down toxic spikes and switch to somthing a little stronger.

Shuckle
Impish
Leftovers
252 HP/127 Def/127 SpD
Encore, Rest, Toxic, Stealth Rock
This is my wall and dont know why it is never used by anyone i know.

Alakazam
Sassy
Twisted Spoon
252 HP/127 SpA/127 Spe
Calm Mind, Psycic, Focas Nlast, Sunstitute
This guy has to stay because it took me forever to breed for his perfect IV's. I am open about his moveset changing along with his held item.

Arcanine
Adamant
Choice Scarf
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, Thunder Fang, Iron Head
My physical sweeper. I decided Thunder Fang to help cover his slight weakness to water even if it does have a low power.

Salemence
Naive
Life Orb
232 Atk/24 SpA/252 Spe
Dragon Dance, Outrage, Earthquake, Fire Blast
I needed to get something to really take out other dragon types and here he was sitting in my PC with decent IV's.

Sceptile
Hardy
Medow Plate
0 EV's
Leaf Blade, Absorb, Pound, Leer
Yes I do realize this is one of the worst pokemon ever but i needed a sixth pokemon so this is going to get replaced first chance.

Please tell me what you think cause any help is welcome.

OK, let's give a quick review here.

Tentacruel: DO NOT STICK CHOICE SPECS ON A SETUP LEAD! Seriously, replace this with Leftovers or even a Focus Sash, as many leads may carry powerful Earthquakes. Also, replace Giga Drain with Surf.

Shuckle: EV's should be divisible by four to give maximum efficiency. A better spread is 252 HP, 160 Def, 96 SpDef with a Careful nature (The Smogon EVs are different but also assume a sandstorm boost). Also, since you have Toxic Spikes already set up, you could replace Stealth Rock with Knock Off to still be able to screw with people after being Taunted and also because it's just such a fun move.

Alakazam: Don't bother with HP investment. It won't take a hit anyway. Just go 6 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd. Also, as cool as Calm Mind/Substitute is, I'm tempted to just replace those moves and slap those Choice Specs here instead.

Arcanine: I kind of doubt that you need Extremespeed on a Choice Scarf user. That could probably be replaced.

Sceptile: Yeah, this thing needs to either be replaced or get a real moveset. I always think SubSeeding is pretty cool. Straight off of Smogon:

Sceptile @ Leftovers
Timid/Jolly
216 HP, 40 Atk/SpAtk, 252 Spd
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Energy Ball / Leaf Blade
-HP Ice / X-Scissor

First of never stick a Choiced item on a Lead like Tentacruel. Choice Leads are good if you have a Trick lead like Jirachi, Azelf, Smeargle or something with Trick.

Shuckle without Sandstorm is pretty much useless. With him being weak to SR so much it wont last long for switch ins if you don't rapid spin the rocks away. Also get Knock Off over Stealth Rock. It can help in the long run.

Chessus gave you a good Sceptile set.

Both of the other users have made some good points. This team doesn't appear to have much synergy. It is straddling between tiers, and since you are playing OU, you'll find that things like Arcanine need to be adapted so that they are not outclassed by more dangerous sweepers.

Like the other users have said, do not choice a support lead. I'm not sure how Tentacruel would do, but at least it covers Gliscor and Swampert. Other leads with Taunt can stop your Toxic Spikes, and Metagross / T-Tar / Heatran would kill you quickly, eliminating the possibility of Rapid Spin later.

Honestly I'd probably just lead with Shuckle (or a Sandstormer, see below) if you want to keep these Pokemon. Knock off is a good idea, but you may want to leave as is so you can Encore their first move (if you think it'll be Stealth Rock), and then you can set up Rocks yourself or Toxic w/e comes in.

Alakazam is ALL wrong. Even with great IVs, a Sassy Zam will be significantly slower than any Timid Zam. Between that and the lack of Speed IVs, Alakazam can get killed by basically anything. Without the speed, Zam is worthless. Cool set idea I suppose, but I don't see it working, and especially not with that nature/EV spread.

I think you ought to do some research as to what Pokemon you should expect when playing in the standard OU tier. While your type distribution isn't horrible, you still lack a counter for many OU threats. Starmie walks all over this team, and SD Lucario is also pretty threatening. Salamence can stop some things, but he can't do it by himself.

It might make sense to make this a more stall oriented team, since you are employing Toxic Spikes and Shuckle. In that case you can add Tyranitar or Hippowdon to get Sandstorm going, and then change your attackers accordingly.

Also, Sceptile is quite good, but in OU you will have a hard time switching in. Even on resisted attacks he still takes quite a bit of damage.
