Oh, my. That sucks. I've had it become 120 degrees where I live, and it was not fun. =( Hope it cools off over there!

I have not experienced that heat, but I hope it cools for ya. Think of ice, snow, freezing lakes etc when you feel warm, it works a little for me.

Eek! It gets hot around here too through most of the year except these few precious winter months. (then there is the random really hot day during winter)

Anyways, Does it ever really cool down in Australia? Also, do you have any real changes in season?

I've only ever known of one place being hotter in Australia, and that's Marble Bar.

I wouldn't be able to cope, that's for sure. It's bad enough when it's high 30s...

[All Temperatures Are Degrees Celceus]

It's -1 here now, 8AM. The past few days it has been -10 to -15 and feeling around -20 to -25. NOT FUN. I'd do anything for it to be 30 now...

I've never seen snow, and it normally gets in the low 20's (C) in winter with it sometimes going down to about 15. At nights it goes down to about 5-10. The closest i've ever seen to snow is frost when it goes down close to 0 overnight, only appears really early in the morning though.

Of course.

A normal July maximum in Perth is about 18C (64F). In Melbourne it's closer to 14 (57) and in Sydney it's around 17 (62).

Compare that to the January average in Perth of 32 (90), Melbourne 28 (82) and Sydney 26 (79).

And there's also the far cooler climates of Tasmania, and the Australian Alps.

And to think it nearly rained here in Perth... ;-)

That sucks, I suggest a cold shower.

Looks like I escaped South Australia with perfect timing, then... And I thought the heat here was bad.

Heh, on Serebiiforums, this thread was closed.

Never experienced weather really really hot being an east coaster from New York but I heard Libya gets temperatures up to 150!

I can't imagine how that must feel.

That's why i'm not going to Serebii anymore. I got a warning a while ago for posting a thread in the wrong place. I realise this place is better than Serebii now. Wow 150F i thought it was hot here.

Heat wave has struck south-eastern Australia again.

46.4 in Melbourne.
40.9 in Sydney.
41.5 in Adelaide.
37.9 on Flinders Island (between Melbourne and Tasmania.)
40.0 in Canberra.

While here in Perth...

25.8.

Goddamn, and you'd think WA would be prone to the ass end of the bargain.

Fairly cold for summer recently, only been in the low 20's since Saturday.
