Okay, so with the new iTunes release, it has a new view that shows music in groups by artist, and looks nice doing it. So, I was wondering if I could get, say, 4 Minutes, by Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake into a group with Give It 2 Me, by Madonna feat. Pharrell?

Any help would be appreciated, but I don't want to change the Artist, or make a bunch of Playlists.

There's two ways, assuming I understand you.

What I tend to do in this situation is just change the song's name. So, to get R.E.M.'s "Radio Song" featuring KRS-1 with R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion," I just changed the artist to "R.E.M." and the song's title to "Radio Song (featuring KRS-1)."

Alternatively, you can mess around with the "Album Artist." This is handy for compilation albums. If an album features, say, the music of both The Beatles and the Rolling Stones (pretend there is one, okay), you're not going to want to change the titles or artists. But you can make the Album Artist "Various Artists" or "The Beatles and the Rolling Stones." Doing so will make iTunes only display one album cover for that album, regardless of how many artists are featured on it.

Hope either of those help.

Thank you. That should be helpful.
In "Get Info" it has "Sorting Artist," etc. And I thought that might do something like what I was looking for, but it doesn't seem to do anything, any idea what it does?
And, the "Suggested Songs" or something box in the iTunes Store homepage isn't on there anymore, any idea how I can get it back.
Any help appreciated.

Okay, Sorting Artist really only has one purpose. It's there to help with alphabetizing. Most people don't count the words "the," "a," and "an" when alphabetizing stuff. So the Sort Album, Sort Artist, Sort Name, etc, are there to help with that. The band "The Who," for example, has a Sort Name of "Who" in order to place it towards the end of the alphabet where it belongs. Likewise, the song "A Day in the Life" is sorted under "Day in the Life."

iTunes usually takes care of creating sort names all by itself, so it's understandable that you hadn't noticed.

As for your new question, I can't seem to access it either. However, do you have the newest version of iTunes? Because it does have the Genius Button, and though I personally haven't used it yet, I'm told it essentially does exactly that--recommend songs for you. However, I believe it's based on your entire library, while the old recommendations were merely for purchased music.

Hope that helps!
