have popped up!

This month, on Pokemon Adventures.

Lenora gets into trouble and is attacked by the Shadow Triad. It's up to Burgh, Elesa, Clay, Skyla, and Brycen to help!

But what about Black and Skyla's Gym battle?

I loved, loved the Gym Leader stuff in this chapter. The actual Gym Battle was kind of meh, but the stuff at the beginning and end were awesome. Aloe and Kidachi (!) as badasses, the Gym Leaders' introductions, them all jumping from that plane at the end...I can't wait until next month's chapter.

As for the Gym Battle:

After he beat Kokoromori in the previous chapter, Chao is pitted against Fuuro's Swanna. Black forgot that Swanna is part Water-type and is caught off-guard when it uses Bubblebeam on his Fire-type starter. Next, Black calls out Protoga. After hesitating for a moment, Black's pokemon finally decides to listen to its trainer and use AncientPower to defeat Fuuro's pokemon. The last of Fuuro's pokemon is Kenhorou. Goura goes back into its Monster Ball after being hit by Kenhorou's Air Slash, so Black brings out his Dentula. After Fuuro tells him about the bell he rang at the top of the Tower of Heaven and how the noise it makes is a reflection of the person who rings it, Black orders his Dentula to use String Shot. The electrified web hits Fuuro's pokemon, knocking it out.

Later, Black travels to the top of the Tower of Heaven (via cannon!) so he can ring the bell again. When Fuuro senses that the sound of the bell is pure, she has her Swanna deliver the Jet Badge to Black.

Good to see the Striaton Brothers Shadow Triad at it again. The gym leaders going after them looks pretty damn sweet.

I think its interesting that the Shadow Triad used a Fire, Water, and Grass Pokemon respectively. :-D

...Okay okay so Larvesta is Fire/Bug. Still...it seems like an odd selection of Pokemon.

Wow, this is another nice aspect of PokeSupe, there's chapters dedicated to the Gym Leaders.

Anyways interesting development. Shadow Triad is getting more active eh?

It seems that volume 40 is finally going to come out in late May?

And it's a crossover with Cased Closed!?

...Hahahaha, how I wish that last part was true.
