General comments...

0. They're all human or humaniform, except for Keroro.
1. All four main characters from Tsubasa are present; and the paired characters appear in the same row.
2. Sakura is present... twice, and nearly tied too, and #12 (from CCS) at 73 votes and #13 (from Tsubasa) at 72 votes. Combined it would have been #4 at 145 votes beating out Suzumiya Haruhi at 138 votes.
3. I've never heard this Lelouch that's taken a few of the top spots.
4. Hikari looks quite out of place. So does Kinomoto Sakura. Not sure why.

What's the surprise? There are tons of more popular animes in Japan than Pokemon.

Also, yay for so many Ouran High School Host Club characters in there. And seems both Haruhi (Fujioka and Suzumiya) are both really popular. I see Yuki Nagato and Asahina Mikuru from Haruhi Suzumiya, but no Kyon? ;_;

Funny how both Sakuras are popular too. That was really a surprise for me.

Probably because the art style is quite different from the rest of characters. At least on Hikari's case. And Kinomoto Sakura is making a weird face soo... ^^;;

I didn't know Code Geass (the Lelouch thing) was getting so huge. It has character designs by CLAMP, but I don't know much about the story except the US never won the Revolutionary War and is now Brittania or something.

I'm glad there are still some older characters on there. Rei Ayanami, haha.

D/P is a new series, so I assume that's why Hikari is the only Pokemon character there.

Either that or they got seduced by her short skirt and pretty dresses. :x

Yeah... I don't know who most of those characters are or even what shows they are from. I guess I have fallen out of the anime thing lately.

Although, only one Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist character surprises me.

Aww, I wanted Ash to be in there. Seriously, he's like one of the most famous anime characters of all time. I'm very surprised that he wasn't in there.


About the other anime characters, I'm amazed that two characters from Kyo Kara Maou made it in there! Yay, I love that show! ^_^

Gunter is in there, and so is Wolfram. :-D

And wait, is that Yuri I see? On number 1? O_O Oh, I get it. Number 1 is Demon Yuri. Woah! I can't believe he's number 1......

And apparently, Yuri is number 36. That's great!!. He's my second favorite anime character. XD

Man, like TONS of Gundam Seed people made the list. And most of these are newer characters. I smell heavy biasness.

I love Pokemon's anime art style to bits and feel other animes just blend into each other (if you dont know anime that well)
What is different from the other styles? Is it the narrow eyes, the bright colors and the simplistic hairdo?
If so, I'm lovin' it.
btw, yea for Hikari. She's pretty cool and her outfit's awesome. She just needs to lose the hat.

It's not Demon Yuri, it's a character from Code Geass. Lelouch Ranperuge or something like that.
