Japanese DSi W-Fi problem

i need some help. I hot a new Japanese Nintendo DSi and ive just gotten around to try to connecct it to Wi-FI. My home router is WEP and connected my other english DSes no problems. But something went wrong and it wont connect the japanese one. I put the WEP key in perfectly, but when it did the connection test there was an error message. Why wont it connect i did everything right and tryed to connect it the exact same way i connected my american ones. Can anyone help?

What language setting is it set to? I mean the DSi.

never mind it mysteriosly just connected normally, im not sure what the problem was. It fixed itself apperently
