Japanese event code for shiny Rayquaza

Hey,

I've recently been to the Ikebukuro Pokémon center and received a code for a shiny Rayquaza, only to discover I can't use it with my American 3DS.

I'm willing to trade the code for an American code for the same Pokémon or anything equivalent

P.S. Considering this is my first post in the forums, and the fact that I'm offering a code and not a Pokémon directly, I assumed some people might find this offer a bit suspicious. Hopefully, my short Bulbapedia contributions list, mostly consisting of original research on internal Gen II and III mechanics, can improve the situation. :)

Well, it was. :p
I attached a photo of the "ticket", sans the serial code itself. The title says "Alternating color black Rayquaza present", and the written date is an expiration date for the code, not the first day it can be used (Your comment actually made me suspect it was, so I translate the text to make sure).
