Any good sites besides Pokesho? Japanese kids always seem to have the coolest art.

Well, there's Mo-mo Stripe
They have some nice Frontier Brain art and some good Clair pictures.
And then if you can read Japanese or if you like to navigate foreign sites, there's pokemon-search.com. That's where I find a lot of my Shinji fanart

There are other artists on Pokesho besides Soara. Some are even better tha he is. They usually draw on the oekaki board. I get a large amount of my fanart there. Currently, there's an Ash oekaki that could really pass for a screenshot. it IS fanart.... really
btw, there's a new Pokesho oekaki there.

Dear God.

Although something about how Ash is put together is a little wrong (and I'm obviously only talking VERY slightly), the webmaster at PokeSho is good at pretty much always making them perfect. The background there is pretty much flawless though. (...provided it wasn't just a screenshot or something.)

Here's another fanart site. My friend Irene showed me this. It has lots of Battle Frontier Brain art like Jindai. And some Shinji art ^_^
It's a lot like the anime too.

I should've mentioned that it wasn't Soara who did it. It was this other guy named Hamaa.
And I've seen Hamaa do stuff like that before. And I've seen him actually paint backgrounds like that on shipainter so I know he just didn't upload the background.

Go to pokemon-search.com, and put it in altavista so you can semi-translate the Japanese.

Scroll down to where the anime related section is, and you'll find lots of pretty art. There is a crapload of Contestshipping websites on pokemon-search, I was shocked the first time I went there and saw how much there really was about May/Drew. The Japanese must have been crazy about them, and a lot of the art is top notch.

Of course its not all shipping and there's lots of nice art about the other characters as well, just look in the general anime section.

Wow, I'm totally incapable of finding anything on Pokemon search! XD
I always like characters who are kind of hard to find art of though, but I don't think I used the site right D8

Oke, I post sites.

Efudepth <--- Possibly one of THE best artists in the Pokemon (or any) fandom period, when you consider their use of color and form. S'like stuff you expect to see in a museum. Check out their wallpaper section.

FLAME In The Dark <--- More normal anime style, but the style is still spectacular. Too bad they don't have much art up.

Kaze No Yukisaki <--- Mobile-surfing site, so be careful of tricky navigation. Originshipping and lots of general PokeSpecial, plus general Pokemon art.

Got lots moar sites I visit but I'm too lazy to find 'em right now.

I just found a new really good site with loads of great Pokemon fanart. It's got Shinji, ships like Poke and ContestShipping and loads of Misty, Ash and dp characters
I even linked directly to the gallery
Hopefully the link works.
btw, once you master katanaka and a little kanji, you can use that search engine a little more better...

Dandelion (been around for years, and her style's really gotten better)
Nibi (lots of cute Shinji art)
Monky Business (awesome but not enough Special art)

What happened to Orange Clock? It was one of my favorites. For that matter, does anyone know of, or have any fanart saved from Akiringo? I loved her style so much, but I only have a few images.

ピジョンエクスプレス

Her style of artwork evokes images of and is reminiscent of those hand-drawn artwork and anime in Japan; I'm not sure how to place it. Her pictures sometimes have subtler meanings too, often making use of the story and/or meaning behind the Pokémon or some other element in it.

Wow, lovely art. ^__^

Hehe, I really love clear. It's just so VERY cute!
Cute comics, and a bunches of Contestshippy and Pokeshippy art, as well as various human characters (including Sumomo, Reiji, and Shinji).

Emerald Tear has some of the cutest, most well-drawn Roketto-dan fanart I've ever seen! Rocketshippy and general friendshippy cuteness.
Reminds me a bit of Tomo's art.

There's also a bunch of jaari-boy-tachi pics, including some very cute ShuuHaru/Contestshippy pics!

Muimi

There's pretty much any character you can think of here, including Gym Leaders and some one-shots. ^^

Muimi has an absolutely adorable simplified, almost chibi style, and the drawings do a great job of conveying the same spirit of the anime series. Cute, funny, light, and happy (with the occasional sad or dramatic pieces). Pretty much one of the first things that come to mind when I think of Pokemon fanart!
