Just a little survey of sorts...I'd be interested if people could list just a few Japanese Pokémon sites that they might know about, and/or visit themselves on occasion, preferably with a short descriptive blurb if possible. When something new is posted, I'll add it to a list here in the first post, and hopefully we can build ourselves up a comprehensive list that'll aid everyone in getting news from Japan quicker, and make us less reliant on the same one or two sources.


Pokémon on 2ch Message Boards
2ch is the primary message board used by the majority of all internet users in Japan. This is its Pokémon dedicated forum section, and judging from the number of posts, may actually be the largest Pokémon forum for Japanese users.
 
Something interesting I found while sniffing around the web for Japanese Pokémon wallpapers:

Apparently, it's some sort of a jackpot game where the prize is 9th/4th A.G. Movie wallpapers. Most of them seem to be the same as the ones from the official movie web site itself, although there seems to be a few that are unique to that site, but only if you get certain Pokémon as the winning combination...

Edit: it seems like they have more unique wallpapers than rehashes...
 
Too bad these pictures aren't set against a transparent background, like the previous one.
 
Imaroda, a Image Board, often gets up CoroCoro Scans/Newtype Scans usually first...or as far as I know. During the DP Pre-release I scoured it regularly, and found stuff on it prior to most fansites.

I'd post a link...but it occasionaly has innapropiateness.

It's the same "inappropriateness" as Pokesho, and its an image board :p
But it really isn't that useful for information.
 
POKEDex 250: The forums here used to have good discussion, but now a cesspool of garbage. The site hasn't been touched in a while too, so it's outdated with Plat. stuff. Good calculation tools though.

Pokemon Battle Wiki: A general battle wiki made by people from 2ch. Decent stuff.

Pokemon Double Battle Wiki: A dedicated double battle wiki by other guys from 2ch.

Minor (UU) Pokemon Wiki: An interesting turn from the other two. Has entries for UU Pokemon.

Era-Nikki Astray: error_astray's blog. Does a lot of digging in on ingame stuff, and gets new information first hand.

Anybody know any good sites that have the newer episodes in Japanese? I really don't want to wait like three months for the English dub to catch up.
