You know how Jessie manages to get her hair mutilated in various ways on the anime, but it always seems to grow back? I may have formulated a theory as to how it works. In an episode of the Ranma 1/2 manga, the reason Ranma wears his hair in a pigtail is revealed: He must keep it tied back with a dragon whisker, or it'll grow uncontrollably. So what I'm thinking is that Jessie's got some kind of weird hair thing like that. (Though I wonder what she would use to control its growth. A Magikarp whisker? Meowth, maybe?)

well, I think they draw it that way just to make sure we see how long her hair is -- I mean, in some angles both in the show and the movies, it almost looks like it's supposed to be straight down. But if they drew it that way it wouldn't have enough flair and you couldn't see all of it 'cause her head would be in the way.

Urgh, as long as you don't really think that, there's a girl or a boy at the fan-club who is CONVINCED her hair is a wig. Seriously.
