One of the things I absolutely loved about this show was Jessie, because she had such a huge ego, as well as a huge heart.

With Team Rocket taking a new direction, I still hope Jessie's ego stays the same.

Yes, I know TR has just recently changed as of BW25, but I really hope that we still see Jessie's yearning for celebrity status.

I'm actually hoping that's what the writers touch upon in order to give Team Rocket more development, they did an excellent job last saga, I hope that they do it this saga by helping Jessie achieve her dream, or realize that she should definitely be more aggressive to achieve it.

What do you guys think of Jessie's Ego, and her wanting to be known by the world, yes Jessalina did help her, but it shouldn't be erased completely.

I think she still has it, in episode 29, when she was told that her life energy was being sucked away, she took out her mirror and looked at her face, because she cares about her appearance and she was so excited to be back to normal and I hope that we see more of it, but not too much. DP showed too much of her egotistical personality in my opinion.

Ooh, a Musashi thread! *rolls up sleeves*

Musashi's ego is still as big as ever. When her Koromori battled for the first time, she was all "Wow, you're so strong! Just as expected from a great trainer like me~" XD

The only thing that is missing is her immaturity. Musashi acted really immature through DP, but she grew up (as did Kojiro and Nyasu) as the series went on. I think she really matured up after the Sinnoh Grand Festival, and whatever happened after DP191. She doesn't act like a little girl anymore, but more like the adult she really is. I think her ego showed through her childishness, and that is why you don't see her being egoistic so much anymore.

Actually... In BW, Kojiro and Nyasu are as "egoistic" as her. "Just as expected from us", "Of course the boss would say good things about us" etc. (But of course you won't notice that since Kojiro and Nyasu are guys, which automatically makes them innocent...)

Uh, not a really good example. Musashi looked at herself, and said "whoa". That's all. Okay, to be fair she was almost dead, but still... And Kojiro also reacted the same way as she did when they got their energy back.

I don't like Jessie's personality at all (like as a person I could be familiar with in real life), but I support her as a GREAT character, because her unique personality. It doesn't matter what kind of person the character is, I like to watch them all as long as they have some outstanding attributes.

I like Jessie, she doesn't take a lot of BS from people. I find her to be really entertaining and it's nice to have someone on the main cast that isn't always as happy-go-lucky as Ash and co. tend to be. That can get kind of annoying at times.

I think her ego can be amusing sometimes, especially since despite her ambition to be a "superstar," she still tends to end up hitting rock bottom, or get so close but lose it all anyways (i.e. Sinnoh Grand Festival semi-finals).

If she ever left, I'd be kind of upset but eventually get over it if it means she gets to pursue her other goals and maybe be more successful lol.

THIS, she's one of my favorites too, and her voice (jap version) is just... :-D

I completely disagree. A few random lines here and there from over 30 episodes is not "proof" of anything. At most, I'd say she has good self esteem.

Musashi's giant ego, just like just about every other personality trait the trio used to have, up and died at the start of BW.

Would obssessiveness could as a trait? Because it's as if catching Pikachu was like Pokenip to them in the first episode.

They still calls Satoshi-Tachi twerps, talk at the same time, and do some crazy shit. Do funny gestures and cheer. There "personality traits" are very much alive. They're just working harder.

That's a really, really minor thing to bring up.

talk at the same time,

When? They barely showed up at all before the unaired Plasma-Dan two parter, and when they did they spent half the time listening to other people give them orders.

And then, when they do talk, it seems like they're talking at each other instead of to each other.

and do some crazy shit.

Such as...?

Do funny gestures and cheer.

They've done that like...what? Once? Twice?

I remember during the scene with Flint, Kojirou and Nyasu talked at the same time. Saying "amazing" to describe Flint.

Even Musashi checked out her looks and to the disdain of Nyasu who stared at her looking angry.

Such as...?
That Big Ass machine they used to catch Kibago and Kurimigan. Teaming up with Satoshi-Tachi. Kojirou saving Dento. DJ Nyasu. They're machines just aren't as "colorful" as before.
They've done that like...what? Once? Twice?
Desmas's capture. They're motto. They're introduction to Emi and Iris. Nyasu being blown away by Mamepato. Cheering after regaining there strength.

Nyasu saying "Jari-Boy" with a creek in his voice. Desmas showing up in the motto. Kojirou feeding Desmas.

I hope that Jessie does achieve her dreams of stardom one day. Jessie was never meant out to be a bitch, she always was a good person with a huge ego.

I was so happy when she came in TOP 4 in the Sinnoh Grand Festival.
