You boarded the ship a few hours ago. After becoming accustom to your home for the nest two weeks, you were invited to a meeting. There, you filled in all the necessary paperwork, and told the organizers what three Pokemon you would be using in the first round. Before letting you go, they supplied you with a Pokelinx (A communication device like a cell phone, except it’s oval-shaped, and attaches to your ear. A microphone and small dial pad eject when you need to use it.)

Now, you’re walking down the corridors of the ship, feeling both excited and nervous for the first round tomorrow. You find your room, and push the door open.

--

Leeann Sonano (Youngster_Joey) - The door of room sixteen (Tourmaline Room) swung open to reveal a glittering, shining bedroom. The walls and roof were made of white marble. Large pieces of Tourmaline wee incrusted in the walls, appearing to have no real colour as it reflected a rainbow around the room from the chandelier on the ceiling. A four-poster bed stood at the back wall, decorated with cream and white hangings and way too many pillows. A television stood on the wall, with a mini fridge underneath it. A door to the right indicated the bathroom, and the huge window that took up the whole eastern wall displayed a beautiful view of the main deck, with colourful curtains that could be pulled up for ones privacy.

A fluffy, white carpet covered the remainder of the floor, looking as comfortable as the bed itself. On the bed, however, were six Pokegems made of Tourmaline, as well as a necklace with a Tourmaline pendent in the shape of a teardrop.

Colin Oakley (Calfab) - Beyond the door of room fourteen (Pyrite Room) was a perfectly circular room. The walls were encrusted with gold, and candles stood on brackets al lover the room reflecting the colour back beautify. A door was to the right of the entrance, signifying the bathroom, and a large, king-sized bed stood opposite, garnished with gold sheets and orange cushions. A window was directly behind the bed, overlooking the bow of the boat, and an oval, golden television appeared to be suspended in mid-air by the southern wall, but was attached to wires, a mini-fridge directly under it.

The floor was tiled with various shades of gold, and on the bed were six Pokegems made of |Pyrite, as well as a thin, gold chain with a Pyrite, teardrop-shaped pendent on it.

Paige Korper (Johto Trainer) - Room eleven’s (Amethyst Room) door flew open, displaying a vision of pink. The walls had fluffy pink wallpaper, with Amethyst pieces running along them. Large, fluffy beanbag chairs were scattered on the purple-carpeted floor. A thin window surrounded the perimeter of the room, giving a 360 view, and a perfectly circular bed stood in the centre of the room. The sheets were pink, decorated with purple, as well as fluffy, violet cushions. A rectangular plasma television was attached to the opposite wall, a mini fridge below it.

On the circular bed were six Pokegems made of Amethyst, as well as a silver necklace with a Teardrop pendent made of Amethyst.

Avarice Baroque (shards_of_stars) - The door of room twelve (Onyx Room) opened. The walls were draped in black fabric, which was also hanging from the ceiling, making the room look like some bizarre tent. Onyx spikes stuck down from the roof, as well as a chandelier full of black candles. A four-poster bed stood in the corner, garnished with black velvet, and a window soot do the side of it tinted, facing the ocean. A black TV stood on a small table to the right of the bed, with an Onyx design on the top, and a mini fridge to the side. The bathroom door was by the window.

The floor was made of black marble. On the bed, however, were six Pokegems made of Onyx and a black necklace with an Onyx, teardrop pendent.

Clare Oakley (Calfab) - Room Three’s (Gold room) door flew open. Similar to the Pyrite Room, the walls were lined with gold. The roof, however, was obscured by a huge window, displaying the stars outside. A golden, box-shaped TV was siting opposite the king-sized golden bed, a mini fridge sitting under it, and another door leading to the bathroom at the other side.

The floor was tiled with various shades of gold, and on the bed were six Pokegems made of Gold, as well as a golden necklace with a Teardrop-shaped gold pendent.

Ashley Tulisa (GoldenrodGirl) - The door of room four (Crystal Room) opened to reveal a room with a high roof. The walls had Crystal sticking out of them at different angles. A large, Crystal statue stood in the centre of the room, a TV and mini fridge built into it. A large bed was opposite the statue, a door for the bathroom next to it, and several large windows lined the walls, displaying various parts of the ship.

The floor was see-through, showing the wooden boards beneath, and on the bed were six Crystal Pokegems and a silver necklace with a Teardrop Crystal pendent on it.

Joseph and Joshua Antonimous (Anonymous) - Room thirteen’s (Aquamarine Room) door was smashed open as Joe and Josh entered. The walls were tiles and blue, and there was a blast form in the centre of the room bearing TV, two beds and mini fridge. The reason for the platform was that the room was one vast swimming pool. The windows were under the water, giving a spectacular view of the ocean, and huge pieces of Aquamarine lined the floor. A corner of the room was blocked off, and above it was a sparkling waterfall, evidently the shower.

On each of the two beds were six Pokegems made of Aquamarine and a silver chain with a teardrop-shaped Aquamarine pendent.

OOC: I was afraid you'd say that.I've deleted it.

'Dang!This room is freakin' sexy!'

Riff dropped all her stuff on the floor, causing one of her pokemon to release itself.

'Gliiiiiiii-scccooorrrr!!!!' Fang the Gliscor stretched his wings and glided through the room, nearly crashing into the statue.

Luckily,Riff's back was turned so she didn't see a thing. She was too busy making some weird, dreamy speech, something Riff never did.

'This isn't a room. This is our stage.Just look at it!We can be seen from the side, underneath and above!Make a mistake and the world will see!'

Fang gulped, knowing what he just did could have been a fatal mistake.

'But rock out,and the world will see and hear the manic guitar riffs that make us famous!' Riff grabbed her onyx electric guiter for emphasis.

'Gliscor?' Fang frowned.Riff was acting really weird. She was never dreamy or soft and never made cheesy,puke-inducing speeches.

'What?' Riff looked at her guitar.'Oh,yeah.I should let the others out too' Riff threw up three pokeballs releasing Malisse the Drifblim,Xanthe the Xatu and Baby the Larvitar. The pokemon cheered, glad to be out and stretching their body.Riff looked down sadly at her two remaning pokeballs.

'Sorry guys.I don't think there's room for you two right now.But I'll let you out later, promise' Riff kissed the two pokeballs before wandering over to the bed to check out the necklace and the pokegems.

'Hmmmm.Look's like it's made out of a Shiny Stone.Probs not though' Riff examined the necklace before slipping it on.It was barely noticable amongst her tangle of necklaces.'Time for you guys to shine too!' Riff added as she slapped the pokegems on the pokeballs.

"Wow!" Paige exclaimed, as she walked into her huge room that she'll be living in for the next two weeks. "This is amazing! I love bean bag chairs, and the bed is awesome, and I love all these colors!" She walked around her room for a bit, taking it all in. She had never been in such a luxurious room before, and felt like she was in paradise. "Woah, this TV is so cool! This is gonna be great!" She lay down on her bed, just to relax for a while, and think about all of this. Then, she noticed the six Amethyst Pokegems, and the silver necklace.

"Oh, so those are the Pokegems. But what is that necklace?" Paige picked up the necklace, and put it on. "I love it, it looks great on me!" Then she looked at the pokegems. She put a Pokegem on each of her pokeballs. "There, now my pokemon are ready for battle! C'mon out, everyone!" Paige threw up her pokeballs into the air, and many Dragon pokemon appeared, with Amethyst gems scattered around them. "Wow, you guys look so cool! I can't wait to battle!" Paige's pokemon cheered with excitement. "Ok guys, return. You'll need good rest for the battles ahead of us." Paige held up her pokeballs to her pokemon, and a pink beam shot out instead of the usual red beam, and her pokemon retreated to their pokeballs.

OCC: Yes. I made it quite clear that the Pokegems were already explained to you.

Gazing into her room, Leeann stood motionless, stricken with disbelief. She slowly entered, touching the tourmaline-embedded walls. She knelt down to touch the carpet, feeling how soft and clean it is. Then she went to the bed, decorated with such lavish curtains and an abundance of pillows, she could not believe what she was seeing was real.

"Oh my god..." Leeann said to herself. Just then, her Wynaut, which she usually keeps out of her pokeball, wondered in the room after her and curiously examined its surroundings. She looked at the Wynaut, and said to it, "Lover, isn't this awesome!?" She rushed to the TV and felt it, growing very excited, also opening the mini fridge just to see how cold it is on the inside.

She let out a cry of joy. "WAHOO!" and leaped onto the bed, disregarding the pokegems that were placed on it. She hugged her pillows and bounced happily, and her Wynaut, Lover Boy, joined in. Leeann mostly grew up living a simple lifestyle, and something like this she thought would only happen in her dreams.

"Oh shoot!" she suddenly realized, as her gems were dropping on the floor. "I forgot all about these! This is all just too much!" She crawled down from her bed to pick up the tourmaline gems that fell to the floor. She then turned to Lover Boy. "So... I guess I'm supposed to attach these to the balls, right?" Lover Boy started slapping his tail and let out a sorrowful cry. Leeann felt she had to comfort it. "Hey, don't worry, Lover! It'll just be for battle, I'll let you out whenever I'm not in a match. Okay, buddy?" She pet Lover Boy so that it would calm down.

Once that was over, she attached the gems to her remaining pokemon's balls. "Okay... Let's see what this does..." she said, as she grabbed a ball and released one of her fast, grass-type pokemon, Jumpluff. The spores on the Jumpluff's hands and head sparkled with tourmaline. Once it took notice of this, however, the Jumpluff started to friskily wave it's spores to remove the tourmaline. "No-no! Dandel!" Leeann called out, grabbing it by it's arms. Dandel was the Jumpluff's nickname. "They're not going to hurt you, baby. Just leave them on for now." Dandel was still bothered by the gems being attached to her, but it sensed Leeann's trust and stopped trying to remove them. Leeann then turned to the necklace that was on her bed and put it on. She liked how colorful it looked and stared at it.

"Pfft, nice. Just like my room at home."

Avarice's voice was laced to the brim with sarcasm, as she looked about the room.

"They said it'd be 'Just like home.' As if. This room doesn't even compare. At least it was decorated in good taste."

Avarice stalked towards the bed, and sat down upon it, before picking up the black onyx necklace.

"I wonder what materials were used to make this? Oxidized silver? Chemically modified gold? In any case, it looks rare."

Avarice carefully clipped the clasp of the necklace closed behind her neck, allowing the black onyx pendant to hang suspended just an inch above the low neckline of her shirt. After that, she gathered together the 6 Pokegems.

"They said that these are supposed to be placed on the button of the Pokeballs."

Avarice pulled out Prince's Pokeball, and fitted one of the onyx Pokegems in place before clicking the button to release her trusted partner. Upon emerging from a beam of pitch-black light, her Gallade was revealed to have been equipped with black, onyx blades instead of the usual green.

"Very nice. Prince, what do you think?"

Prince looked at the blades, a bit startled at first, but upon swinging it about for a few seconds, a faint smile crossed his face. The Pokegems had earned Avarice's and Prince's approval. As she placed the remaining Pokegems onto the rest of the Pokeballs, Prince looked about the room, wondering why the room was so much more sparse than what he was used to. Sensing Prince's confusion, Avarice looked up.

"It's alright. This will be our new home for a while, so you may as well get used to it. After all, it's not like they'll march in at our beck and call to add extra furnishings, much as I wish they would."

OOC: Anon are we waiting for others to post or are we meant to go barge into everybody's rooms? :p

OOC: WHAT!? Calfab's been online for ages! Have they forgotten or something? :/

OOC: D: It's the moment you've been waiting for.

Colin stepped through his door, a golden (or pyrite, he should think) paradise was revealed to him. He simply widened his strange, swirling amber eyes with surprise and awe, taking a few minutes to accept the surroundings that would be his accommodation. Techno simply whizzed past Colin, and dived onto the luxurious-looking bed, beeping with delight. Soon after, Amaterasu and Silk burst through the door together, Amaterasu gliding gracefully and softly landing beside Techno, and Silk simply dashing around in circles a few times, then climbing up the bedpost and sitting there, flaunting her speed.

Then, Kamei took his turn to come in, astride Zippy the Rapidash. Zippy simply trotted over to the bed and deposited Kamei there, lying down beside it. Colin noticed that Arcana hadn't arrived yet, but decided not to worry. Arcana could take care of herself well. At that very moment, she was twirling on the deck of the ship, and suddenly disappeared from there. Back in the room, Colin was greeted by a new arrival, who just twirled out of nowhere - Arcana.

Nice to have you with us, Silk told her sarcastically, still perched on the bedpost.

He stepped over to the window which overlooked the bow, and was amazed at the sight he could see there - simply beautiful. Arcana, who also seemed entranced by this, stood by his side, staring out of the window with him. However, the others were not so entranced by the sights. Techno had switched on the golden television, and was flicking through the channels, whilst the rest raked through the mini-fridge, and it seemed there was everything for everyone.

Then, Colin looked behind him, and noticed that the pyrite necklace which he had seen earlier was now on Silk's neck. He leapt towards the Furret, pouncing on her, and snatched the necklace. "Mine," he called out childishly. This made Silk cry a bit, but Colin said, "Look, you get something of your own." He picked Silk up, and took her over to the six Pokégems. Producing her Pokéball, he slapped on the Pokégem to it.

As soon as he did so, Silk's stripes turned a golden/pyrite colour, along with her eyes. He did the same for the rest, and they soon found themselves with new, pyrite attributes.

"Cool."

---------------

Clare was far from cool as she was engaged in an argument with Emperor, and her face looked like it was about to melt off. However, when she opened the door, she stared, all agog, lost for words (for once in her life). Emperor also had stopped, and then pushed Clare away from the door, and dashed in himself, bragging about how he was first in the room. The others followed suit, leaving Clare slightly angry. She stepped into the room, shaking her head, and flopped onto the bed, snatching the necklace and sticking it over her own head.

Emperor had found the Pokégems, and had also stolen their Pokéballs. He slapped them onto all of their Pokéballs, and soon found himself with solid gold parts to him - all the bits that used to be light blue. Stymphalian had now gotten golden claws, as well as parts of his wings becoming gold. Wiley's giant maw thingy's teeth (Clare could never find a name for it) were now golden, as well as its tongue. Patches of Slinky had become golden, and the bits of Hellgar that were supposed to be grey were now golden. Altair, being mostly gold already due to her shiny form, had just a golden glow around her wings.

Clare was about to look up at the ceiling, but noticed that there wasn't one, and had a minor fit. What would they do when it was raining? But she noticed that there was a certain gleam, and was reassured when she realised that this was a window, and that acted as the roof.

"This room is freaky..."

OOC: EDIT - Sorry Anon xD. Colin's Pokémon - Techno (Porygon-Z), Amaterasu (Swellow), Silk (Furret), Kamei (Wartortle), Zippy (Rapidash) and Arcana (Gardevoir). Clare's Pokémon - Emperor (Empoleon), Stymphalian (Skarmory), Wiley (Mawile), Hellgar (Houndoom) and Altair (Altaria)

OCC: Glad to have you with us, Calfab. But, the Pokemon only have their gem attributes when released from the pokeball, not when the Pokegem is just slapped on. (Also, I’d appreciate it if people actually stated what species of Pokemon you have, rather than just their nicknames. I doubt everyone read all the sign ups.)

IC:

Joe and Josh walked through the door, and were awed by what they saw. All the necessities of the room were on a platform in the middle, and the rest was taken up by a large swimming pool! A waterfall was in the corner, evidently the shower.

After testing out the beds and putting on their Aquamarine chains, they, as well as everyone else, received a call on their Pokelinx.

“Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room. Thank you.”

They did as instructed, locking their room behind them, then walked past everyone else’s rooms and turned right, emerging in a large, office-type room. A huge table was in the centre, with three official-looking people sitting at the front, and some of the other competitors already sitting there.

'Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room. Thank you.' Riff heard the Pokelinx say.

'You heard the voice. C'mon, back to the pokeballs' Riff returned all the pokemon to their balls before making her way to the meeting room. Two freakishly alike twins arrived just before her.

Just then, Paige got a call on her Pokelinx. "Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room. Thank you." The voice said.

"I guess it's time for the battles! This is gonna be fun!" Paige said, looking at her pokeballs. She began making her way to the meeting room, excited, and only a bit nervous.

Leeann and her pokemon were enjoying themselves in their new room. Just then, She received a call on her PokeLinx:

"Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room. Thank you."

"Awesome!" said Leeann excitedly. "I can't wait to see all the trainers. I wonder how they treat their Pokemon?" She withdrew her Jumpluff back into her pokeball, but decided to carry Lover Boy in her arms. She closed the door behind her and started heading towards the meeting room. She could see other competitors heading in the same direction as well. Looking for a conversation, she tried to catch up with the rest of them.

Just as Avarice had returned Prince, her Gallade, to his Pokeball, she heard an annoying beeping sound from her Pokelinx, then a short message.

"Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room. Thank you."

Avarice ignored it for a second, and pulled open the mini fridge. She grabbed a number of Poffins for Yulian, then shut the door, and left the room. As she made her way down the hall, she caught glimpses of other rooms, finding them much to garish.

"I think it's a good thing my room is black after all. . ."

Upon entering the hall, she found herself in front of a myriad of people. Seeign the vast amount of people with their Pokemon out made Avarice decided it would be best to imitate, but just with her most formidable

"Prince, intimidate the competition."

Upon emerging from his Pokeball, the black-bladed Gallade was a bit star-struck by the large amount of people, but instantly gained his composure.

"Could all competitors make their way to the meeting room? Thank you."

As soon as they were feeling comfy, that message blared at him. He jumped slightly, and then grabbed Techno, his Porygon-Z. Rushing out of the room, he ran down the hallways, to be met by Clare, who was practically dragging Emperor along with her. She rolled her eyes at the congregation of Pokémon dashing behind them - ten of them total. Upon entering the hall, they were both met by numerous people. Taking seats somewhere, Colin and Clare began to chat to each other.
