I like Jigglypuff better, because of the show. How about you?

Clefairy, because it is a beast in UU because it has a massive movepool, and quite possibly one of the best possible abilities in-game. magic Guard rules.

Definetly Jigglypuff. It was one of my favorite Pokemon when I was younger. It's basically a living, breating puffball of WIN.

Jigglypuff. I love her whole evolution line, and she's fun to use in SSBB >:D
I like clefairy too, though.

Clefairy though used to be the most interesting, along its evolution, because of all the Mt. Moon deal... but it feels like they didn't really do as much as they could with them.

That said: You are challenged by ROUGHNECK KIRBY!

They're both godawful in my opinion but Clefairy sucks less, so I'll choose that :P

Jigglypuff. Dunno why. Always liked her better. Don't care much for either of them in general though

Definitely Pippi. It ranks up there as one of my favorite pokemon of all time, I love everything about it.

Jigglypuff because I like the recurring gag in the anime (Jigglypuff getting angry when no one stays awake during its songs and it drawing on everyone's sleeping faces).

Jigglypuff, though I like Cleffa so much more than Igglybuff.

I picked Clefairy, because her body and face is not annoying, unlike Jigglypuff and her anime mannerisms. Also Clefairy had arguably the more useful movepool of the two, with Cosmic Power, Trick, Encore, Belly Drum, Follow Me and Softboiled for Clefairy for instance, compared to Perish Song and Gyro Ball from Jigglypuff for instance. Clefairy also has an ability to make some of those moves even better (Double Edge has no recoil, Trick works well with the orbs and Endeavour is more usable for example), not to mention that her stats are better overall (faster and more offensive). Therefore, Clefairy wins for me.

One thing I am bugged is the fact that despite this, Jigglypuff is the more popular one, thanks to having a major role in the anime, in turn starring in Super Smash Bros., and this has basically granted Jigglypuff immortality (lifelong popularity), because Smash Bros. playable characters will forever be remembered. I guess this is the balance between the two Pokemon.

Jigglypuff, because Wigglytuff is just lovely <3. And I like Pokémon with a huge HP stat, no matter if their defenses aren't good at all. It's just looks cool to have nearly 500 HP.

And I've never heard anything good about Jigglypuff in Smash Bros. serie. Yeah, everybody just remember it as an annoying and weak playable characther, yay?

Clefairy looks usually just like an old man to me o__o. Okay, maybe it's just me...

Why do people refer to them as "her"? I guess I can see Jigglypuff as the smash bros one is most likely female, but the rest I've seen don't really show anything of being either.

Actually I heard many stories of Jigglypuff being surprisingly strong in the metagame.
Remember rest is the strongest move of any character, being an insta-ko at even below 50% damage. That's stronger than a properly executed Luigi's fire punch which has about the same range and doesn't leave you in a good position either. Not to mention her other attacks are focused in VERY quickly increasing damage.

Jigglypuff is a fighting balloon, whats not awesome about that! Plus, Jigglypuff is awesome in the anime.
