Hey all!! So I know I haven't updated with my artwork in literally forever, so I've decided to take some time and organize my art on here :3 Anyhow about my artwork:

  • I do a LOT of gifts
  • I draw Pokemon & Digimon almost all the time x3
  • I like critiques as they help me get better
  • I am an art student :)
  • I draw Anime from time to time, but I do draw Super Mario a lot, too

I hope you all enjoy it~ :D

Not bad, I really like the variety in your work. :)

I'm especially loving the meowstic with a top hat, it's cute. <3

Though it looks like you press down pretty hard with your pencil? It's notable with the Lucario piece the most. Personally I do the same thing but I find that paper can easily rip and tear when I press down too hard, and it's a shame to have hard work ruined. I would definitely work on lighter pencil strokes when laying down your ground work, and perhaps getting a kneaded eraser if you don't have one already. They're one of my favorite tools because you can lighten up a drawing with them.

Ah thank you!

Yea I tend to press down pretty hard with the pencil in order to keep my stability with the sketch. I figured that it's not going to be traditional for now, so I am fine with that~ However, once I decide to take another traditional art course (which would not be until I get enrolled in a BFA school), then I'll just stick with this. I do agree with the kneaded eraser. I have a mars plastic at the moment, but I could use a kneaded again xD
