So, it has been stated in a couple of different places that John de Lancie, the former voice of none other than myself, has done more work in the My Little Pony franchise, and at this point, this news is all but confirmed.

And now, we shall discuss what exactly this means for the future. In what role will de Lancie be cast? Will I at last make a glorious return and once again endeavor to spread chaos and disharmony throughout the lands? I'm hoping for the latter. That would be nice.

Well it would be VERY hard to top Discord, so him voicing a background pony would be anti climactic.

It would either be Discord himself or another onetime villain with 100 HP bars, 3 forms and regenerative HP on every turn.
