Johto and Kanto: Who would be the Elite 4 and Champion if they were separate?

Okay this has been puzzling me for a while. Are the Elite Four in GSC and HGSS the new Kanto Elite Four or the Johto Elite Four?

If they were to separate themselves and have there own Elite 4 and champion for each region how should it pan out and who should be in it?

Kanto:
Loreleii
Bruno
Agatha
Lance

Johto:
Will
Koga

Karen

I'm having trouble thinking of someone for the non-PC Champion of each region as well as the third member of Johto's Elite Four.

What does everyone else think?
 
Red could've been the Johto Region Champion. As for the 3rd E4.......maybe Kiyo. If he had a few more Pokemon on him & raised them up then he could be a candidate.

Kanto's Champion.......I'm not sure. I like the idea of having Blue (your rival) as the Champion. Course, it's only good for the Kanto games themselves IMO. But I can't really think of anyone else in Kanto to be Champion.
 
I'd have Lance be Johto's Champ and Red be Kanto's since he canonly IS the Kanto Champ during Johto's time.

I think they're meant to be the Elite Four of both regions, the "Kanto-Johto Elite Four", if you will. Red beat them three years earlier, only (1) he's quit as Champion, (2) Agatha's retired or dead, and (3) Lorelei is god knows where. Though the personnel have changed, they're meant to be the same organization. They are both located on the Indigo Plateau after all.

To answer your question, if they were split, I'd divide them based on which region they came from, or were introduced in:

Johto
Champion: Lance
E4: Karen
E4: Will
E4: ???
E4: ???

Kanto
Champion: ???
E4: Bruno
E4: Lorelei
E4: Koga
E4: ??? (formerly Agatha's spot)

Perhaps Eusine could be one of the Elite Four from Johto. His Pokemon aren't at a high level when you face him in the games, but neither are Steven Stone's when you battle alongside him in Emerald. Point being, his levels could always be jacked up. Not like there are a lot of NPCs to choose from :3

It's one league, just that the Johto E4 is the NEW Indigo E4; the E4 after 3 years. Agatha probably died and Loreili probably retired and now resides in the Sevii Islands.

I really like the idea of the Steven being the Kanto champion after Wallace booted him out of Ever Grande.
I think though that Lance should stay heading the Kanto Elite Four and that the Johto Champion could eventually become Eusine because maybe he'll see that as a way to get Suicune and it fits him really well, imo.
As for Silver in Johto's elite four he's not real type specific enough and I was thinking that perhaps it could be Faulkner's dad and that it could be a Flying-type member.

Johto:
Ch-Eusine

This is a really old thread but I was just thinking about the same thing.

Kanto:
Champion- Leaf/Green maybe??? The forgotten trainer and give her some of the limelight that Red and Blue stole.
Venusaur, Clefable, Nidoqueen would for sure be on the team.
4 - Lance (i wanted to keep him a champion but Leaf and Eusine just fit better)
3 - Lorelei (i always thought she was the hardest)
2 - Sabrina (im thinking the fighting gym returns to Saffron in her absence)
1 - Bruno (but better)


Johto:
Champion - Eusine is a solid bet (but a lot better. I would replace him with Lance but im not sure who would be the other e4 member in Kanto)
4 - Karen
3 - Faulkner's Dad (someone mentioned this earlier in the thread and I thought this was brilliant)
2 - Koga
1 - Will (debunking the Lorelei crossdresser theory lol)
