Johto's Where The Fun Is

The roleplay has just started, so there is no need to not see anything that has happened. :)

Professor Elm smiled at all the young people in his lab. He walked over to a table and gestured with his hand to the pokeballs laying on the table. Each ball had a symbol on it. Some had a flame, a rain-drop, and even a leaf. "These pokeballs hold the pokemon of which you will start your journey with. Each is unique in it's own way. Remember to chose wisely." He said, with his lips curling in a cheeky grin.

Yuki looked at all of the pokeballs. There were so many... She couldn't decide. Did she want a fire, water, grass, or whatever else there was. She gulped and walked closer to the table. She glanced over each one in turn. One caught her gaze. It had a little flame on it. 'Maybe I could get that one.' she thought. Her heart raced as she reached for the red and white ball.​
 
Annie looked at the pokeballs, not knowing which one to pick...she better choose wisely, because it might be weak. Annie looked at the girl reaching for the fire type pokemon, crap! Everyone knows fire is the strongest!!! Grrrr, looks like I'll take the Grass type. Water types are STUPID. With that she reached for the pokeball with the leaf on it.

After Annie chose her Pokemon, Nicholas finally showed up. "Sorry everyone, I got sidetracked on my way here. Oh, hey, Elm--" Then he saw the one Pokeball left. It was the one with the raindrop. Nick reached for the Pokeball on his belt with the exact same symbol. "Wait a minute, I..."
 
after nichlas chose his pokemon john showed up '' sorry guys didnt set my clock so i slept too long.

Professor Elm walked up to Nicholas and John. He guestered them to the table of Pokeballs. "Choose wisely." He told them.

Yuki picked up the pokeball. It felt warm in her hands. She pressed the small button, making the ball opened. A red light flashed in front of her, releasing a pokemon from the ball. In front of her, a small cyndaquil stood. It ran up to her and hugged her leg. "Awesome, a cyndaquil." She said. Yuki crouched down to pick up the cyndaquil. She stood back up to her full height and scratch the cyndaquil's head softly. "I'll call you... Flame."​
 
"But I--" Nick exclaimed,"...God, Elm, remember?" He opened the Pokeball that was already on him, and a Totodile jumped out. "I got this thing, like, five years ago?
 
Annie released the Pokemon from it's leaf ball, and it was revealed to be a....Chikorita? Hmmm, I wonder what it's like. Better be good use to me. "I'll call you....umm, boy or girl?" The pokemon looked at her. "Boy?" Chikorita nodded no, "Girl?" Than she nodded up and down. "Than I'll name you Rita."
 
Professor Elm scratched his head. "Oh, yes, now I remember!" he laughed at his forgetfullness. "Well, anyways," he looked at the trainers, "you'll need Pokedexes and Pokeballs, wont you?" he said. He walked over to his desk and opened a drawer, and pulled out a bunch of Pokeballs. He opened another drawer and grabbed Pokedexes. He walked back over to the trainers and handed each five Pokeballs and a Pokedex.
 
"Oh, this where the party is? I got lost." A voice said. A trainer just walked in with a Togepi sitting on his head. The Togepi was inspecting everything with the curiosity of an infant.
 
Professor Elm saw another trainer come in. He walked up to the trainer and greeted them with a friendly hello. He looked up at the Togepi upon his head, and pat it gently.​
 
as prof elm said john was choosing his pokemon to help him choose he callt out his charmander
charmander looked at the pokeball with the leaf on it john said '' i take the leafy pokeball''
 
Nick looked at John's Charmander. "Oh, you come from Kanto too? That was the life... I have a couple Pokemon from there as well."
