I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd sure like to see the "Jukebox" segment come back. I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a generic 60/90 second filler segment that airs between the Saturday 9:00/9:30 episodes that could easily be converted to a music piece.

Anyone else have any opinions?

The last season that had "songs" at the end of an episode was Johto Journies...which was Season 3.

Seasons 4-10 didn't have them, why would they come back now?

I was merely pointing out that there was a fairly obvious generic block of time that would be well-suited to the task.

As I recall, the songs were removed at the request of Kids' WB, which wanted to use the time for station promos, though occasionally we would get a brief video (usually "Master Pokemon", that video with the revolving globe backdrop).

The people at TAJ absolutely reek when it comes to new music and video editing. I'd rather not.

I must say, I wasn't particularly fond of the rerecord either. It lacked the emotion of the orignal.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Hoenn Pokerap myself, but I wouldn't mind a Sinnoh one.

I'd rather not have a pointless generic filler segment tacked onto every ep when the current filler segment is probably only here until CN changes their lineup again.

Most of the Jukebox songs weren't that great, really. They were a nice change of pace from the endless Pokerap, but there really wasn't enough variety or quality in them to make it worth bringing anything like them to DP. I'm sure that their style would be different enough from the old jukebox that everyone would complain about it anyway. :/

I'll agree with opening songs, but like the one they used in those Battle Frontier episodes for inserts were quite nice, atleast Jukebox material.

The Hoenn Pokerap, available on a Target Disc, is teh shit!

"Stay Together" was pretty good. I even have it as the ringtone for my cell phone! :D

I have a feeling that CN would rather have something else there as well instead of the generic music sequence. We'll just have to wait and see.
