There are more legendary Pokémon than there are fire types.

There should be more Fire-type Pokemon, for sure, considering there are 92 Water Pokemon and 52 Grass Pokemon.

And for the love of everything that's holy, less legendaries.
 
There are fewer electric types, and only 4 families of dual-type electrics. I have my fingers crossed for a Fire/Electric type starter for GenV.
 
33 Fire Types including Fire-Type Legendaries.
29 Fire Types excluding Fire-Type Legendaries.

I couldn't agree more. The reason they put so many legendaries, is to attract more "yay i gotz daigla i iz da best playa ov da world"-noobs.

In fact, legendaries have become so common that the point of them being rare and only seen by very few, is completely missed.

And I have no problems with the fact that there are so many Water-type Pokemon. After all, life started in the water.
 
Sinnoh took the piss with Legendaries. Seriously. Even Heatran, the bastard child of Dawn and a Bastiodon, gets Legend status.

We do need more fire types. Ice Types got a whole funky new snowy bit in D/P, lets have some LAVA for new fires.

I think you should get legendary status, purely for that comment XD
 
We were introduced to plenty of Fire Pokemon in the first Gen (12 in total) but after that it's been a downhill: 10 in Gen II, 6 in Gen III and only 5 in Gen IV.

And types like Electric might have less Pokemon, but at least they're more easily available in the games. Since Fire is one of the three starter types, you'd think it had more Pokemon.
 
Yeah Fire is undertreated, and there are too many legendaries. If they put so many in, being Legendary will soon be nothing special.

How many legendaries are there in total? I think it's 35 Divide that by 493 then times by 100 to see just how big a percentage the legendaries are. 7%

7% of Pokemon are legendary so if you pick 100 at random, 7 of them would be legendary, that makes them seem so unspecial.

But but, I haz captuered Dialga! with bad IV's, a Rash nature and ev spreads I don't know about, however, but that doesn't prevent me from using it everywere I go saying: I'm da best, Hey you captured Palkia, now we're equally best, let's see who can get the better pokémon? Ah, I got a hacked arceus from my cousin with bad nature IV's and Ev's. See I am da best? Nao I can Ask arceus from the GTS! let's put up Bidoof and ask a level 100 arceus!

lol, I was just thinking about how I and my friends did that with R/S (except for the GTS, that is just pure noobish so I added it). You're post made my day xD

note that I don't get/got hacked poké's from cousins. But all my friends seemed to do...

I believe you mean "cousin". They AR themselves and are too scared to admit it.
 
I think it's just harder for them to imagine Fire types. Since Fire types are
pretty much regular animals...on fire. IDK where I'm going with that, but to me
it's just harder to randomly think of a Fire type.

I'm not a huge fan of them so I don't mind a ton.

haha probably. But in my neighbours case, he has cousins who have a program on there ds that gives out free event darkrai's and deoxyses.
