I'm just starting out in this advanced style of battling and looking for some tips on how to train my Pokemon. I've done some research into it and I familiarized myself with some of the terms I'm sure I will be coming across, so I know how it work I just need some help starting. Since I'm just starting out I figured I better stick with one type and once I get used to the style of training and battling I would then move onto different types. Now what I'm not sure of is what to train each Pokemon for, the nature the Pokemon should have, and the item I should give that Pokemon. When it comes to the moves that Pokemon will know, if it does really good with a certain move feel free to tell me, but for the most part I should be able figure out what move to teach it on my own. The type I choose to start with was bug type, and the Pokemon I choose to train are:

Ariados (NU)
Nature: ???
Held Item: ???
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. ???
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

Galvantula (RU)
Nature: ???
Held Item: ???
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. ???
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

Wormadam (Trash Cloak) (NU)
Nature: ???
Held Item: ???
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. ???
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

Volcarona (OU)
Nature: ???
Held Item: ???
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. ???
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

Armaldo (NU)
Nature: ???
Held Item: ???
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. Rapid Spin
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

Shedinja (NU)
Nature: Lonely
Held Item: Focus Sash
Team Role: ???
Moves:
1. Endure
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???

*I found a video that had some tips on training a Shedinja, but I still need the role it will have on the team.

So can any one help me get started on my bug type Pokemon team, please?

If I were you, I'd start with a simple OU team. Mono-type teams are difficult. However, if you are set on mono-bug, be sure to stick Rapid Spin on Armaldo.

For a mono-bug I strongly recommend technician scizor with swords dance and bullet punch over wormadam. With the right evs this guy can become an insanely powerful sweeper. I made a bug team a while back, I used escavelier with a damp rock to start rain which cut fire type attacks power then I switched my scizor to finish them off. when scizor fainted I had one of my pokemon use toxic and used the rain to accelgorstall.

Heracross is more useful than Ariados, so you should go with Heracross. I would go with a Guts set with the Flame Orb, or a Choice Scarf set.

look, hes is looking for some helpful tips
first you have to get the pokemon you want with the desired nature and IV's. if you don't know what IV's are and also a breeding guide: Individual Values - The Pokémon Wiki
EV's stands for Efforts value, each pokemon you fight you obtain them. every 4 ev's you get earns you 1 stat point here's a table: List of Pokémon by effort value yield - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia
also Pokerus doubles ev increase. Also power items help train by +4, These can be obtained at battle subway
