Just What will happen to Kalos? (THEORY AREA)

This thread is being created so that everyone can post about all of their cool and interesting theories about what exactly will happen in the Team Flare Arc. No matter about any battle result(let us not bring up any unnecessary gripes about the final; I feel that it was.... a fair fight), we should move on forward...... another greater battle is on between our heroes and Lysandre. How will Ash and his friends win?

The next few episodes will surely be a whirlwind of battling , drama, emotion and the works. There is no doubt that the X, Y and Z anime has stepped up the level of the Pokemon anime! Nevertheless, the Team Flare arc will have many repercussions,benefits and all around after-effects that will ultimately bring a spectacular end to Ash's journey in Kalos. It's better that these discussions not continue in the REVIEW threads, as ultimately the replies will snowball, and of course those threads are for episode reviews, not speculation.

Many questions come to my mind:
Will Alain betray Ash? Will he continue in Team Flare after realizing their true intentions?
What role will Clemont, Serena, Sawyer and Ash's other rivals play?
Just how will Korrina and er Lucario enter into the fray?
What will Alain be driven to do, for the sake of Mairin and for the respect of Kalos citizens?
What exactly is the Ultimate weapon? (and how does it work?)

We'll just have to wait and see....

I hope Alain dies or gets arrested.
Since its a kids show, they can do this too:-
After the team flare is defeated, Pokemon league disqualifies Alain for his involvement in the attack but they are not arresting him as he helped to eventually defeat team flare and he will have to hand over the trophy to Ash but Ash being too good asks the league board that Alain deserves it and then it is decided that a rematch will be done officially. And greninja wins that's why he is on the broadcast pokemon list of the episode right after the climax special.

It would make no sense. If the league organizers had a problem with Alain's actions outside the league, they would disqualify him outright rather than setting up a rematch. He won the league fair and square.

Alain would not die or get arrested. He is mislead by Lysandre and would realize the truth eventually. He will team up with Ash and friends so he can find some kind of redemption. He is not to be blamed for being tricked. He also won't be disqualified or have a rematch with Ash. He deserves the league win and trophy.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: I like Alain. He is genuinely a good guy. From the previews, it does look like he is going to betray Ash, but I don't think he will do it willingly. Lysandre is going to find a way to twist his arm again.

Eureka will calm Puni chan. Citron will reclaim the tower and possibly invent some awesome device to get rid of the vines. Serena and Braxien will kick butt together and save Ash! Amourshipping Forever!

I bet Alain eventually faces Lysandre and his mega gyrados takes out Charizard, giving Ash a chance to redeem himself by beating said Gyrados.

I can't see them taking away Alain's title or anything like that. I can see them giving Ash and the gang special hero awards or something.

Honor of Kalos, anyone? That'll be a neat nod to the games and something pretty big on its own for Ash to take away after his journey in the region.

Just like in the games after beating Team Flare, I feel like its a possibility. Though that's gonna be a lot of medals, considering everyone who is primarily defending Kalos. Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Sawyer, and possibly people like Shauna, Trevor, Tierno, Marin, and eventually Alain possibly.
