Story

The year was 1918, World War One had the allies at a great position. From there the Allied nations which included France, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, India, Newfoundland, New Zealand, South Africa, Rhodesia, Russia, Italy, United States of America, Romania, Japan, Belgium and Greece decided to create a League of Nations. Their aim was to work together to create peace for everyone all around the world. A young businessman by the name of Douglas Flynn pitched forward an idea to have a group of superheroes working together to keep peace. However this idea was knocked down without hesitation by the Allies

However Mr. Flynn did not give up, he decided with another businessman by the name of Herbert Johnson to create and fund a team of superheroes to keep peace all around the world. They were to not interfere with any war, not cause war, to not kill anyone at all and a few others. They started to search all around the world to try and hire these heroes. His aim was felt all around the world as the media used this team to cause a political challenge to the governments all around the world. These heroes were seen as role models were they could trust. Douglas Flynn and Herbert Johnson could finally seen their dreams of a peaceful world coming to life.

Somewhere in the world....a group of villains are rumored to be created just in case for war

You will be a hero. This is a history based RP, so we will be starting Jan 1919 and continuing major events from there. They may change history or not. Heroes will retire and new heroes will appear over time.

The housing will be at an island claimed by the United States of America off the coast of Australia

Power: Ray is Omni-linguism able to understand langues. Ray also has control of fire and heat and the ability to manipulate them for his need. However, Ray is dependent on his hands for normal manipulation, serving as a blessing and a cruse Ray can embrace the burning inferno in his body causing his body to catch on fire. In this state Ray is no longer in control of his body and cannot come out of this state unless he is able to quell the anger of the flames. This experience terrifies Ray and he refuses to use it.

Appearance: Ray stands at 6' even, towering over the average man. Ray's red hair is cropped classic military style. If you look into Ray's eyes you can see flames dancing in his forest green eyes. Ray often wears jeans and a button up. Ray continues to wear his dog tags from the war, when asked he says that you can't run away from your past so embrace it. Ray also wears a locket from Jessica that he refuses to give up.

Personality: Ray is easy enough to get along with; he enjoys making jokes and being with good friends. Ray is motivated by his past to do the right thing in the future. He is incredibly loyal to his friends and his country.

History: Ray was born outside of a town in central Texas; his family owned a dairy that kept them moderately well cared for. Here Ray learned the value of hard work. When Ray was finishing up High School he asked his father about college, his father told him that they didn't have enough money to send him off to college. Ray didn't take this as a no he spent the rest of that school year and summer continuing his chores on the farm and working for Mr. Henderson down the way on his cattle ranch. Well working on Mr. Henderson's ranch he meet Jessica. She was a grade below him in school and Ray hadn't noticed her before it wasn't long before Ray and Jessica began to meet up between the two farms. By the end of that summer Ray had enough money to go to college. Ray at 19 began work on a degree in medieval history. Ray loved learning the French and German langue. Every night Ray would write back to his small town to Jessica to see how she was. Ray vividly remembers when the war with Germany was announced, he was back home in rural Texas knocking on the Mr. Henderson's door he intended to ask permission to marry his daughter. Upon answering the door Mr. Henderson pulled Ray to the Radio where the whole family listened as war was announced. Ray resolved that he would join the army to fight. Jessica and Ray stood by the buses that would take Ray to Basic Training, she begged him not to go but Ray only told her that it was his duty to fight and when he returned they would get married. Ray excelled in basic training his knowledge of France and German made him an excellent asset and he was shipped off to France. The official report read that Ray went MIA after his company encountered heavy enemy fire. Ray himself never remembered what happened to him that night after the bullet hit him. Ray awoke in a small cottage in France, he found out the young couple who lived there and found him wandering the hill losing quite a bit of blood. Here Ray lived for the rest of the War protecting the small cottage from Allied and Axis alike it was during this time Ray discovered his abilities to manipulate fire. Jessica never found out what happened to Ray. When news of peace came to the France countryside Ray hoped the next boat to America with a goodbye to his French friends. Ray arrived in his hometown to find that the Henderson’s ranch had closed down during the war. Ray began a journey to find Jessica, one where he would discover himself in the process. It was on this journey Ray was approached to join a special team.
Others/Hobbies: Ray enjoys working hard in the sun, studying history, and having a good time.
