Justice League shipping!

For a kids' cartoon, this show sure has a lot of shipping in it. The major ones are:

Green Lantern/Hawkgirl
Green Lantern/Vixen
Batman/Wonder Woman
Green Arrow/Black Canary

Any Justice League fans here that like any of these pairings?
 
Comic Ships

Well, I thought that Green Arrow/Black Canary was pretty-much canon up until Ollie got himself killed and brought back as some kind of zombie thing. You'd be surprised how often that happens to super-folks :p

That aside, my favorite DC ships are:
  • Batman/Catwoman - "CatTailShipping"
  • Nightwing/Oracle - "ShortPantsShipping"
  • Two Face/Poison Ivy - "KissNSlapShipping"
  • Wonder Woman/Aquaman - "RoyalShipping"
I also follow most of the canon ships in one form or another.

Probably one of the weirdest fanships in existence (at least for the Batman universe) is the relationship between Tim Drake (Robin III) and Cassie Cain (Batwoman II). I mean, Tim is about as straight and normal as you can get - an honour student from an affluent family. What are the chances that he would be interested in a mute young woman who knows absolutely every way ever to kill someone. :eek:
 
Green Lantern/Hawkgirl is the only one I've seen episode-wise. I love the thought of Batman/Wonder Woman, but part of me likes the idea of Superman/Wonder Woman as well. Green Arrow/Black Canary is also a pretty decent ship.
 
I'm guessing these are from Justice League Unlimited? I haven't watched that so don't know all the characters but I do like Green Lantern/Hawkgirl and Batman/Wonder Woman from the old Justice League cartoon.
 
Green arrow/ Black Canary is a definate thing. My JLU ship fantasy is and will always be SuperGirl/ Captain Atom
 
Belldandy, Justice League Unlimited is basically just a continuation of the first two Justice League seasons, so yeah they're from both.

A new canon ship that has surfaced in recent episodes is Huntress and The Question. Now that was unexpected.

If you like Batman/Wonder Woman, you need to see a certain scene in "The Brave and the Bold (part 2)"...but you might as well watch both parts to understand what's going on. :p And they were by themselves in the Watchtower for quite some time in "Comfort and Joy", so who knows what may have transpired. ;-)

Considering the high amount of sexual innuedo and adult themes in every episode, I don't consider JLU a kids cartoon like Teen Titans.

I'm surprised they get away with implied sex on a TVY7 rated show.

Yeah, I saw a bit of one of the JLU episodes and IIRC the beginning is pretty similar.

Which episode's that and what happens?
 
Well, without explaining the whole situation, WW is in flight, pushing against a nuclear missile, trying to stop it from impacting. It hits the ground (but not hard enough to explode), skids along, and stops, with WW nowhere in sight, assumed to be crushed. Batman runs down and frantically begins to dig through the rubble, but then WW pushes the missile off her. After everyone talks for a bit, WW notices Batman's dirty gloves, but he quickly hides them behind his cape. I think she gives him a quick peck on the cheek too, can't remember for sure.

The Brave and the Bold is the two parter where they're up against Gorilla Grodd and Flash falls victim to mind control for a little while.

I might remember seeing that now that you've said it. Wierd that I didn't remember before cause I've seen those episodes a quite a few times.
 
Sorry to bump such an old topic, but it's a worthwhile post, so yeah... :p

I have just discovered that the Justice League Adventures comics, which are from the same continuity as the first couple JL seasons (before Unlimited), have even more Batman/Wonder Woman shippiness. :-D
 
I dunno, I dislike Batman/Wonder Woman.

Seems kinda odd ball to me.
 
I've seen a couple of Flash/Hawkgirl things too.
 
Well, the UK has seen several new JLU eps now. One, "Grudge Match" had more Question/Huntress shippiness. This scene surprised me:

Huntress (on cell phone to Question): "So...what are you wearing?"
Question: "Blue overcoat...fedora..."
Huntress: "You really stink at this."
Question: "Orange socks?"
:lol:

And the most recent one, Far From Home, had a new ship:
Brainiac 5 of the Legion of Superheroes and Supergirl!
 
Sucks that they written Kara Inze out of DCAU continuity; She's my favorite character in the DCAU. And dude, I really liked Supergirl and Captain Atom. Plus, ever since the episode "Little Girl Lost" during the Superman Animated Series, I always wished they would come back to whatever Jimmy and Supergirl had. :D

Betcha the fact that Supergirl decided to stay with the LoS means that she'll be in the upcoming LoS series. Guess it's a link to the more-familiar JLU for fans that aren't familiar with the LoS.
