Juuchan's Gijinka Challenge! - and more fanarts

Hey there, it's me, Juuchan17 . . . and I have put myself on a challenge.

Could I manage to draw Pokemon gijinkas all as females?
(This challenge includes all genderless and male only ones, which will probably be more feminine than some people may like . . . XD)
I chose this challenge because I am better at drawing females than males, and my guys look very feminine anyway, so . . . yeah.

Well, I've got a few pieces thus far. But I'll also post some other Pokemon fanart here too, so that I don't have to make a new thread for it. (I'm lazy . . .)

WARNING: These can take a bit to load. Sorry, dial-up peoples (I know this because I have dial-up too!).

I tried to incorporate the actual likeness of the Pokemon in the gijinka, so I will agree - I love how Uxie turned out. Her hair is difficult, but if she were like a real person, she'd have glasses and be a total bookworm (although she'd probably not want to open her eyes in public . . . XD).

I have a couple of new ones (actual hand-drawn pieces this time!), but I'll wait a bit before posting them, okay!

Glad I have a new fan!
 
Absolutely adorable. Great designs too! Just work ont he shakiness of your lineart. ^o^;

Glad you like them! I would love to make them less shaky, but I lack a tablet. ^__^;; I just use my touchpad and my finger to draw on my laptop for now, but my hand-drawn sketches are much better. (it's the scanning part that sucks sometimes. HA.)

Mesprit looks like a magical girl, don't she? XD (I had an fic idea that would have the Lake Trio as magical girls . . . but I lack any good talent for completing that idea.)

Because I'm so nice, here's my EPIC Arceus sketch. I like how she turned out, but the hoop was hard to draw. (IT's BIG - sorry you gais - but it's worth the wait!)

I'm surprised that Arceus-gijinka is getting so popular! It was just a sketch I made, but I would like to try and make a nicer version (maybe on actual white paper . . . and inked and colored too!), eventually.

Haha! I love the Feebas. It's so giddy and whatnot. I'm curious what you would do with Pokémon like Solrock though...

Thanks, I love how Feebas turned out. I love her dorky look - it's almost like she goes from dork to beauty in a matter of moments. XDD

I'm not sure exactly what I'd do about Solrock or Lunatone, but I'll figure out something.

Gijinka Pieces:

WIP PENCIL SKETCH = Murkrow-Honchkrow/Misdreavus-Mismagius
I like how this is looking so far. I'm working on tweaking Murkrow's design so that it looks . . . well, like a Murkrow, but the others are kick-butt here. I had to draw this because Honchkrow and Mismagius are so PIMPIN' out those hats. XDD
Working on finalizing sketch for inking.

FINISHED LINE-ART = Shaymin (Land-Forme)
This time a full body shot with her Pokemon counterpart. It's only land-forme though . . . I really need to finish finalizing a Sky-Forme gijinka so that I can have them hanging out or something. XD
Oh, and DragonArtist16 colored it in SHINY colors! - ZOMG Shiny Encounter! (Please check out her stuff too! She's really good - SHAMELESS PLUG)

FINISHED LINE-ART = Sinnoh Lake Trio
One of my earlier shots of the Lake Trio pixies as gijinka. I think this was one of my first ones too . . . and I love how they turned out.
Again, DragonArtist16 colored this too - Magic Sprites . . . In COLOR! (Yep, it's all just a SHAMELESS PLUG PLUG PLUG!)

PENCIL SKETCH = Team Galactic goes . . . Sinnoh Brains!
I love making TG dress up as other characters. I'd done some for around Halloween last year, and I enjoyed it so much. Besides, this had to be done . . . I especially love Charon and Gijinka-Rotom as Darach and Caitlin the best.
Next up: TG as Hoenn Brains . . . because they need some love too!

FINISHED = TG in "Let's Adventure!" ~ an Ode to DP
This was the piece that got me into making the commanders and Cyrus dress up as other Pokemon characters. Heck, I even got the grunts into the spirit! (Cyrus is the funniest part of the shot, trust me!) I might do a Pt one later this year when I get a chance.

FINISHED = Gingashipping - Rainbow Chu~<3
I didn't expect for this to turn out as well as it did. It's just a bit of Cyrus/Saturn lovin' with Cyrus being . . . well, quite OOC. I did some digital airbrush experimentation with this one, and it looked good.


I might put up more stuff a little later on . . . Enjoy!

That Arceus is absolutely GORGEOUS. I love the skirt-like design. Very nicely encorporated. Lovely and stoic.
