Start Ups Kalos Chronicles (Naoto, Murkmire, and Midorikawa)

[Naoto]

OOC: @Murkmire; @Midorikawa; Your character lives in Aquacode Town, and you have received a letter 3 days prior from Prof Sycamore to go on a journey to fill up the Poke'dex for Kalos. You are to meet at the Aquacode Cafe, where one of his Prof Sycamore's Assistants will give you your perspective Pokemon.

IC: A girl walked down the quiet streets of Aquacode Town. The girl was petite, standing know taller then 5,2. She had waist length blone hair, with long bangs and bright emerald green eyes. She wore a white t shirt with a navy blue mini skirt, and a pair of black running shoes She had received a letter from Prof Sycamore 3 days earlier, and for some reason, she was perplexed on why the letter was sent to her.

Why would he send me a letter asking me to help him in something so major? The girl thought to herself, with a confused expression on her face. It's not like I'm anything special... I mean, I guess my mom was a pretty good coordinator, and my sister has started to become known in the breeding business. But I'm so ordinary when it comes to them.

The girl then stopped for a second and smiled. Still, I guess I don't mind receiving my own Pokemon. It'll be great to make a new friend.

 

[Murkmire]

OC: It's Aquacorde, broski.

IC: A young man, by the name of Cedric, walked down the street of Aquacorde Town. He was on his way to Professor Sycamore's lab, pretty excited to choose his first starter Pokemon. After he read the letter for a second time, he stuck it in the back pocket of his dark jeans. He was wearing a short sleeve, black, button-up shirt. That, with a light green undershirt.

He noticed, and waved, but kept walking along his way to Sycamore's lab.

 

[Midorikawa]

A young girl rand down the streets of Aquacorde Town, dodging the people with quick and sharp movements. She wore black pants tucked into black ninja boots. Her top was a sleeveless blue turtleneck. Black fingerless gloves with metal plates on their backs clothed her hands, and around her neck was a long red scarf. Her aqua blue hair was tied up in a ponytail with some pink bangs hanging down and covering her left eye that was yellow in color, the other being an aqua blue like her hair.

In one of her hands was a letter, crumpled slightly from the grip she had on it. The letter was from professor Sycamore and stated that he would be giving her a pokemon. Her reason for running was in a rush to get to the lab and receive her pokemon, and from there to head on a journey with it. Of course to do that she needed to slow down, as she messed up dodging a person and ended up in a trash can at Aquacorde Cafe. At least she had made it to her destination, however she hoped immensely that none of her peers were around since she was already bullied enough as is.

 

[Naoto]

OOC: Sorry guys, I should've been more specific. The characters are visiting a cafe to receive Pokemon from one his assistants at a Cafe. In the games, his actual lab is located in Lumiose City, which is still a little ways off.

 

[Murkmire]

Cedric, having made it to the cafe, took a seat after ordering himself a burger. "Ugh... I hope whoever is gonna show up is a bit late. I'm famished..." He said this as his stomach grumbled. Looking around, he didn't notice anyone else that looked like they were getting their starter Pokemon.

After a bit of waiting, he had received his burger, and had the biggest gleam in his eyes. A meaty burger with delectable tomato, lettuce and onion, with ketchup perfectly added. He began to scarf down his burger as he waited for Sycamore's assistant.

 

[Naoto]

The girl finally made her way to the Aquacorde Cafe, not sure where wait, she plucked all of her courage to ask someone who was scarfing down a burger.

"Um... Excuse me." The girl asked, in an almost tiny and shy voice. "Do you know where people waiting to meet Prof Sycamore's assistant are supposed to wait for their starter Pokemon?"

 

[Murkmire]

"Um... Excuse me." A girly, shyly asked Cedric about people waiting for Professor Sycamore's assistant. He gulped down the last of his meal, and answered with, "Yeah. Well, no. I'm just here, hoping someone in a lab coat shows up. Why don't you have a seat?"

Cedric gestured to the girl to the chair opposite himself. "I'm here waiting for the assistant myself. My name's Cedric. What's yours?" He asked with a grin on his face.

 

[Midorikawa]

After struggling for a few moments the blue haired girl managed to get out of the trash can just in time to over hear two people talking about meeting the professor's assistant, just like her. Running over, and nearly tripping again, she slammed her hands down on the table to help balance herself as well as get the other two's attention."You two are also waiting for Professor Sycamore's assistant?" she asked before realizing that she probably seemed strange and rude. "Um er...I'm Amaterasu...I'm also waiting for him err his assistant," she chuckled nervously.

 

[Naoto]

"There you guys are." A voice called. Beautiful blonde haired woman whose hair came down in blonde locks. She wore a white lab coat over a one piece blue dress. "I'm Margret, Prof Sycamore's Assistant." She said, in a fairly energetic voice. "I hope you don't mind, but I came here to deliver the starter Pokemon in place of Prof Sycamore, he's fairly busy with some research right now, but he said if your ever in Lumiose City, to stop on by his lab."

She then pulled a capsule like device out of pocket, and opened it, revealing three Poke'balls. "These are your Pokemon." Margret smiled. "Their still young, so treat them with care."

She then tossed them into the air. "Come on out, Froakie, Fennekin, and Chesepin!"

The three Pokemon then stared at their potential partners nervously. "You guys can go on ahead and pick. Be civil, and choose wisely, because these Pokemon will be your partners for a long time to come!"

 

[Murkmire]

Before Cedric could respond to Amaterasu, a beautiful blonde woman walked up, stating she was Professor Sycamore's assistant. He got up and looked at Chespin. Chespin flinched a bit, but returned Cedric's stare. "Hey, lil guy. Wanna come with me?" Cedric said with a gleeful tone, and a grin on his face. Chespin had jumped into Cedric's arms, nuzzling him affectionately.

"Aww, aren't you a bundle of joy?" Cedric hugged the Grass-type. "I'mma choose this lil' guy as my partner," he said as he looked at Margret.

 

[Naoto]

"Um..." The girl quivered nervously.

"It's okay to take one." Margret smiled.

"I... Just don't want to make them hate me..." The girl frowned.

"Just try your best, and your Pokemon will understand your trying to." Margret smiled.

"Umm... Okay..." The girl sighed. The Fennekin then walked up to the girl, and nuzzled it's muzzle into the girl's ancle. "Oh, I guess you want to be my Pokemon." The girl smiled. "My name is Alice, and if you want, I can be your trainer."

The Fennekin nodded. "Fen." It agreed.

"Okay, then. We'll be partners. I'll call you Blair." Alice smiled.

 

[Midorikawa]

Amaterasu waited for the other two to go first leaving her with just Froakie. She calmly walked up to the water type and kneeled down in front of him. He seemed nervous and sad that he had not yet been picked, however he calmed down when he saw Amaterasu smiling at him. "Shinobi. I think that sounds like a good name for you. What do you say Froakie? Do you want to become Shinobi and my first partner?" Froakie smiled and nodded jumping into her arms as she stood up holding him. "I'll be taking Froakie," Amaterasu told the woman.
