Note: I'm accepting any people, even those who have no background knowledge with the Kamen Rider tokusatsu series.
Countless millennia ago, the place known as the Paradiso was created when He was born during the creation of the universe. God reigned supreme over the planet that was soon to be called Earth, though he had to share this world with the gods and goddesses of old. As mankind came into creation in a joint project with the gods and goddesses responsible, man had followed various religions but one category of religion promised to unify man and wipe out much of the religious world – monotheism. It speared paganism in the stomach as the centuries past, leaving behind only a few that have become untouched due to isolation.
During the creation of man, God had told his angels to bow down to the newest creation made by Him. One of his angels, Lucifer, archangel of light, did not take too kindly to this statement and the fact that man was extremely flawed. He rounded up followers and what took place was the Biblical Rebellion of the Angels. Lucifer’s side took many angelic lives but eventually lost after the Greek and Roman gods assisted His cause, and Lucifer and his followers were banished from Paradiso for his actions. They plummeted to Earth and created a huge ditch miles and miles deep. As they burrowed into the Earth, the sins they had committed rose up and blanketed the world, and the center of sin was later to be called by the Supreme Poet “Inferno”, the opposite of Paradiso.
In the wake of the Inferno’s birth, on the opposite side of the world, all that earth and stone that was displaced when Lucifer and co. hit the Earth created a holy mountain, it a radiant example of virtue and redemption. This was Mount Purgatorio, where the souls of repentant men and women were sent to be cleansed of the sins they had committed in life. And thus, the youngest of the Three Kingdoms of the Afterlife were born.
It wasn’t still for long. Lucifer plotted revenge against the gods, as did his followers. And what better way to do that then to create monsters, demons, and creatures? They had created thousands of beings later to be collectively known as “daemonkind” and unleashed the hellish army onto Earth, aiming to obliterate mankind. The gods responded, sending their demigod children to fight them, with God sending his angels and archangels to fight this global demonic threat.
Eventually, the side of good won, though not without heavy casualties, and all they managed to do is seal the doors to the Inferno and decimate the rest still on the surface. Many went into hiding among humanity, wishing for a life of peace instead of bloody prolonged warfare. Once this was done, God recalled His angels and resumed to take the planet for himself by religionist means.
Eventually, evil daemons started to resurface, but amazingly, humanity that was aware started fighting back, decimating all that crossed them. This number, however, plummeted drastically as the years past; as mankind now believes that monsters, demons and the like are nothing but fairy tales.
It is the present day and grave news has reached the Empyrean the seals that have kept the forces of Hell at bay are starting to become weaker as time ravages them, and daemonkind is starting to slip through the cracks. It will be dark times for humanity if the seals fail, and thus, God has started sending his angels to handle some more “infected areas” of the world. He has also has sent one of his remaining archangels, formally a saint and martyr Joan of Arc, archangel of righteous warfare, to gather total strangers around the world to fight and travel the world to stop this demonic threat by becoming grand warriors the Japanese shows have created to entertain the world: become the Tokastatsu-like Kamen Riders. Be wary, as evil daemonkind comes in all shapes and sizes and all come in various forms of nasty. Be warned: the Inferno has chosen humans as hellish champions and to combat the Paradiso’s champions. The ones fighting for humanity’s cause will be known as the Kamen Riders and the ones fighting for daemonkind’s cause will be known as the Dark Riders.
Rules:
One – No Godmodding, controlling other characters, abilities that let you completely control time, one-hit killing on tougher daemons and the like.
Two – Try not to use one liner posts often, and try to use proper spelling and grammer.
Three – No sex.
Four –No Flaming or bashing someone in threads. We can act like adults here.
Five – The normal rules of the RPG forums are applied here.
Six – No double or triple posting. If you do, delete the extra posts. If you don’t do it, I will.
Seven – Fill out forms accordingly.
Eight – You can introduce more characters, but remember to describe them.
Nine – Whatever my co-GM (GodzillaWolf) or I say goes, get it?
Ten – Keep at least one of each daemon alive for scientific study to separate fact from fiction.
Eleven – Many religions and regions around the world have been pulled into this. If you feel offended by this, it was not my intention to do so.
