Kevin walked outside of his house. It was a beautiful day in Pallet town and he was officially able to battle. He saw that Professor Oak's lab was down the road but all good trainers started by talking to a Professor. He finally made it to the Professors Lab when he saw that there was a huge hole in the side of the building. All of the Professors equipment had been either stolen or smashed. "What the..." Kevin said to himself. "Professor!" He yelled but the Professor was nowhere to be seen. He then saw a crumpled up note on his desk. He ran over to read it. There was some writing on it but he couldn't make out any words on it because blood had been splattered all over it. He saw that one pokeball was still there. He opened it up to see a Squirtle in it. "I better take care of this until I can find Professor Oak." he said to himself. The Squirtle looked at him and then yawned. "It's ok little buddy I'll keep you safe he said." He then went to walk outside when he saw a screen turn on "You....must......save.....the....." It shut off but it sounded like Professor Oaks voice. He ran over to it and saw that the message had come from Saphron city.
 
Lang walked out of his house with his new Nidoran-m, waiting to get on the plane to Kanto. "So Nidoran, how do you feel?" "Great! Ready for the plane!"
 
Kevin walked to his house. "Why are you back so soon?" His mom asked. "It's the professor he's......gone." "What do you mean gone!?!?" She exclaimed. She seemed panicked. Kevin handed her the bloody note he had found before. "Oh......this can't be good." She said.
 
"Squirtle Water Gun!" Allison said. "Squir!" Squirtle shouted and fired water into the air.
 
Lang arrived in Pallet, and saw the Professor's house in ruins. "OH MY GOD! WHAT HAPPENED?" "Lang, I really have no idea." Said Nidoran, dryly.
 
"Squirtle now use Tackle!" Allison shouted. "Squirtle!" Squirtle shouted and did a Tackle attack on the Bulbasaur.
 
Thomas decided that if he didn't save Professor Oak then no one would. He then walked outside and saw a girl playing with her Squirtle. He walked up to her. "we have the same pokemon" he said sending his squirtle out. "Squirtle" it said grumpily and then covered it's eyes to block them from the sun. "He just woke up." Kevin said.
 
"Well I better get going" he said. He then mumbled "If I don't save the Professor no one will....." "Come on Squirtle!" He yelled as his Squirtle followed him but it still was covering its eyes.
 
Lang ran up toward the exit with Nidoran. He saw two kids with Squirtles. He and Nidoran both jumped, shooting over their heads. He landed softly and ran off.

Allison looked at the bird pokemon with curiousity. She then petted the bird pokemon and smiled.
 
Lang jumped over the head of a kid with a Bulbasaur, and didn't stop running until he reached Viridian City.
 
Kevin saw the Pidgeotto. "Hey there little guy" He went to go pet it but it bit his finger. "Ouch! Why you little!" He went to grab it but it flew away from him.
 
Allison giggled softly as she looked at the boy with the Bulbasaur.
