Kanto Elite four and Champion speculation thread

The Elite Four in Kanto was not outlined the same way as Sinnoh was. All four member members of gen 1 appeared but what about Karen, Koga and Will. And who is the Champion? they must have one, Ash said so. Will the elite 4 change? It's wild guess time!!!!!
 
We know that Bruno is a member of the Elite Four, not sure is Lorelei Prima and Agatha were confirmed.

If I recall correctly, I think Prima was only referred to as an incredible trainer (or something along those lines). In AG132 (the episode where he's informed of the Battle Frontier), however, Agatha was revealed to be a member of the Elite 4 after Ash battled her in the Viridian City Gym.
 
One of the things I find disturbing about the Kanto Elite Four is their relationship with the Johto Elite Four. I just wonder if they are one and the same or two different groups because of the fact they both have Bruno. Other than that their members are different.

I would have liked to see Steven's presence in Kanto in HGSS as indicative of his newfound position as Kanto's champion because Red bailed to Mt. Silver, which was why Wallace took over. But alas, there is no confirmation of that theory.

With that in mind I would like to see that Johto and Kanto have two different Elite Four's instead of the same as they seem to have in the games.

Any thoughts?

That'll be cool so Kanto can have Prima, Koga, Bruno and Agatha plus an anime exclusive champ like Silver and/or Ash's father.
And Johto can have Will Karen, Lance and two others
 
The Japanese title of EP099 is Kanna [Lorelei Prima] of the Shitennō [Elite Four]! Ice Battle!!
 
I would want to see different elite four members for Kanto and Johto as Dexter said, But the fact that Bruno was a member of 2 regions in the games doesn't mean he will the the Anime, Although He might not appear again at all.
 
I'm confused about the Kanto/Johto elite 4. They could very well be the same, or separate, but who knows in the anime. Was Lance even confirmed to be in the elite 4 in the anime? All I know is, the Kanto elite 4 is Prima, Bruno, and Agatha right now. Those were confirmed, but would be nice to know who the 4th member is and who the champ is.

That's why I created the thread ,speculation. Who you think the champ is? And Lance is confirmed if memory served I'm 99.999999999999899% sure.
 
GS took place 3 years after RB. There's turnover within the E4, and Kanto and Johto both share the same E4, located at the Indigo Plateau. The show wasn't particularly well written in Johto, so they didn't happen to include anything related to the E4. Too late now, so nothing's going to come of it. The Indigo Plateau in gen II really was not that confusing.
 
In anime Kanto E4 was showed to be same like in 1st generation of games being Lorelei,Bruno,Agatha(as Hoenn showed) and Lance.
Members like Will,Karen or Koga not being mentioned at all could likely mean how changes which happened in games with Gold and Silver and second generation likely never took place in anime with E4 cast remaining the same and for time remaining probably will.
Speaking of Lance its interesting how he was never referred as champion but only E4 in Johto and Hoenn if i recall right.

In future if E4 from Kanto ever gets showed again i could see maybe Lorelei being replaced with someone else either following games being Koga or doing anime exclusive thing who will obviously be Misty"shot"(i can hope right?).

I always wondered why in games there is connection between Johto and Kanto E4 having same members like Bruno as well Lance who is champion.It would be much better if anime differentiated members from each region showing Johto E4 to have new group of people instead of two regions sharing same members.
For all we know Kanto and Johto E4 could still be Bruno,Lorelei,Lance and Agatha.

Did we ever even find out if Kanto and Johto shared an Elite 4 like in the games?

Last I can remember the Kanto Elite 4 was: Prima (Lorelei), Bruno, and Agatha. Looking back on it I really do not remember if Lance was ever mentioned as a member, but he appeared during Johto which would suggest to me that he was part of the Johto Elite 4.

Okay thanks. Maybe Ritchie is the champ now... Maybe while Ash was battling other leagues, Richie came back and won Indigo plateau. If they made the champion someone we know hopefully its him. If not then they could just create a brand new character, or bring back a minor one time character.
 
If they switched up his team and made him more unique from Ash then I wouldn't mind seeing Ritchie as the champion. Seeing as he was in Johto but didn't compete in the Silver Conference i've always wondered what he was doing.

I was wondering what Ritchie was doing too. How did he get his Tallow if he did not go to Hoenn. Being champion certainly would explain things.

I'd rather have Leaf be champion, thank you very much.

Ah this is a topic I've wondered about for a long time. I'd like it to keep it simple and leave it like the games, as annoying as I find it. The change could serve as explanation to how Elite Four members are chosen. But since the show doesn't care about any of that we'll most likely never know.
