Not sure if this is in the right place, but I wanted to share something I just finished.

A while ago I found in-game maps of Johto and Kanto from GSC - the full regions, with blank spaces where nothing exists in the games. So I decided to fill them in and create full maps of the regions using Paint. Additionally, I decided to add some of the new areas that were added in HGSS - like the river on Route 45, the autumn-coloured trees around the Tin Tower and the Safari Zone past Cianwood - as well as some bits exclusive to Crystal, like the different-looking Burned Tower.

I also loved the idea of the beta Lake of Rage town, so I kept that in. As there was originally a Gym there, I thought it would be fun to keep it there. I imagined it was an unused Gym in the vein of the Fighting Dojo, possibly with Water trainers as it's by the Lake of Rage. This is why I kept the 'ARN' over the door instead of 'GYM', as 'ARN' (Arena) seemed more unofficial.

The one part I took a bit of liberty with was Route 47. I did like the route, but I felt having yet another cave in the Johto region was dull (there's already the Union Cave, the Ice Path, Dark Cave, the Dragon's Den, Mt. Silver, Mt. Mortar and Victory Road). I would have preferred a big forest above Cianwood leading to a winding mountain road (preferably filled with tough trainers). So I decided to deviate from the original and created a different-looking route to the Safari Zone.

I left Kanto more or less as it was. I never liked Viridian Forest so I didn't bother restoring it, and there wasn't much point changing the Seafoam Islands as you can't see inside them on the map anyway.

After I was finished with Kanto and Johto, I still wanted to muck around with maps some more, so I decided to have a go at recreating the Sevii Islands. They actually weren't too tricky to make. Several areas like Kindle Road and Sevault Canyon were simplified, but that's generally due to the limitations of the GSC maps.

Anyway, here they are. Let me know what you think and/or if there's anything that could be added. Enjoy!

Annoyingly the Johto and Kanto maps are too small, so you can't zoom in on them the way you can the Sevii's. They were too big to upload as attachments. Anyone have any suggestions?
