Anyone heard of this show, its on the Nicktoons channel and 4Kids i marketing it. They are hailing it as "the first American Produced Anime" (Megas XLR was more anime looking then this!). It looks like horrid animation, but I am watching it anyway.

Anyone seen it, thoughts, ect?

Has it started showing already? I want to see it, if only because it sounds silly. Hey, maybe I'll learn something.

And what in Jayzus-ah's name is that purple thing?

It comes on tonight at 8:00 on Nicktoon Channel, and again at 11:00.

I just watched it, and despite the horrid animation, it is quite funny. Its not a anime at all though!

In this one, they looked for a pirated version of a Video Game, and they met real pirates (3 of them resembled Shanks, Lucky Roux, and another guy from One Piece!)

The purple guy is Gwano, and is a Pikachu copy it seems, but it talks and reminds me kinda of The Cheat from HSRunner(Such as it getting abused in one scene)

I was hoping it was at least a little informative (couldn't they have at least told us what those foods dancing on the screen were? I saw some nigiri sushi, but what were those brown balls in the black boxy thing?). However, not being informative + not-that-great animation (Flash?) + not being that funny = I'd rather have watched an episode of Spongebob Squarepants. Though I don't care for that either, I know it's funnier.

Just so you know, Flash != "bad animation." Flash is a tool like ink and paper, that, depending on how it's used, can make great animation or crappy animation.

True Dogasu. Fosters is made on Flash and the animation rocks.

Case in point: Shmorky.

I haven't seen mainstream animation in Flash that matches what he does.

I'm waiting though.
