As you can see, this is my 1000th post. I never made one of these threads when I first joined, so I figured now is the perfect time!
FORUM HISTORY
Also, here's my favorite album right now:

Just listen to the whole thing in that order and it feels like you just went on a journey by the end.
Also, I think a lot of pokemon are super adorable when I'm high,
like Wigglytuff the bunny or Makuhita the meat sack
EDIT: This may also be my goodbye thread. Farewell, Bulbagarden, I hope my 1000 posts were a net positive on the community!
I joined in June of 2010, and didn't do much at first. This is around the same time the Contest Hall was created, and I quickly found a home there. An amusing artifact from this time is my palindrome pokemon comparison thread, which led to my first conflict with a moderator (in an amusing way). Here they are for reference:
http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f458/ho-oh-vs-girafarig-vs-muk-88791/
http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f458/eevee-vs-girafarig-vs-ho-oh-88796/ (this one is, hilariously, still alive 3.5 years later. also, check post #2)
http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f458/ho-oh-vs-girafarig-vs-eevee-vs-alomomola-97228/ (even though this is the most complete thread, it never caught on)
After that, I had the theory. Team Aqua and Magma go after the Regi pokemon in order to capture Regigigas to use its power over tectonic plates to either create more or less coastline. This was a semi-popular theory, and I tried multiple times to turn it into a fanfiction, but I was either just a terrible writer or the idea wasn't *that* interesting. I still write this fanfiction, of course, but it's just a series of Google Docs documents that only I can view.

(I will spare myself the embarrassment of posting links to my multiple failed fanfiction attempts)
Aside from that, I mostly post in General Pokemon Discussion, where I try to give in-depth analyses on people's ideas even if it isn't necessarily wanted. You're most likely to see me there, but I'm also somewhat interested in the roleplaying forum (whatever it's called), so I might be posting there a lot more soon.
