According to ☆飯塚雅弓のまーちゃん日和☆, the blog of voice actress Mayumi Iizuka, Kasumi (Misty) will be "navigating," that is to say, hosting, parts of the first Pokémon anime 10th anniversary special, which airs on TV Tokyo tonight at 7 p.m. JST. She hints at a further appearance sometime in the future.

Yes, it seems she's only appearing in the trivia portion of the episode, though her hinting of future appearances is certainly cause for hope. That she initially said she'd be on Pokémon Sunday and switched that around, makes me wonder if she's actually going to have an appearance on a HoSo like episode on there sometime in the near future.

Just a vague "appearing". She could turn up in Sinnoh, hosos just look like the more likely option.

No, she's not appearing in the actual show itself, I don't think. I think it is more along the lines of the Takeshi & Kasumi segments in Pokémon Shūkan Hōsōkyoku - they were called "navigators" there.

Maybe her "further appearance" meant she's going to host another event as well? She might be in an actual episode, but I suppose its best to wait until its confirmed.

In any case, I *really* hope they get the Hoso's going again. It bothers me that in AG they were so open to bringing back old characters via Hoso's but now in D/P they don't seem to care about any of the older characters. They way they pretend that May never existed in D/P is pretty pathetic.
