Is there an audio or video clip online from Mastermind of Mirage of the Kayzie Rodgers (Jamie Peacock) voicing Ash? Then, is there a clip of the same scene with Sarah Natochenney voicing Ash?

In this clip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=7bkQ-Nkr9hI

is that the original version or the redub?

Considering that May's voice is deep as hell, without a doubt, Kayzie is playing Ash in that vid.

Of course, I have yet to see the re-dub of it...but that's based on what I know...

In that particular clip, that's the original Mastermind.

You can tell because it has the KidsWB logo at the bottom.

Also, in the original Mastermind, Ash's voice was basically the same as Max's voice. X_X Oh god, I'll never forget how horrible that was.... *shudders*

Anyway, as far as I know, there isn't a video out there which compares the original Mastermind to the redub of Mastermind. There should be a video like that, because then we could compare Kayzie Rogers' Ash voice to Sarah Natochenny's Ash voice and see who uses more emotion in their acting. I for one, think that would be pretty interesting! LOL. XD

That's interesting. Well let me know if you come across a clip online of the redub version with Ash speaking.

This is interesting, because Kayzie Rogers had the same problem of obviously pronouncing "ing" and "in' " (in the beginning she says "trainin' ").
We have been accusing Sarah Natochenney for doing the same thing, but perhaps the director is making her...

Okay! I'll let you know if I see a clip like that, poke07! ^^

And by the way, nice find. I never noticed that Kayzie Rogers did that as well (dropping the g's ALL the time). Wow, you could be right! It's possible that could be the work of the voice director! =O

Come to think of it, it wouldn't surprise me if the voice director really was causing Sarah to do this. I mean, Tom Wayland certainly isn't Michael Haigney, as far as voice directing goes. ^^;

The voices were so bad that I named the whole episode as bad. I can't bear listening to it. I thought listening to that was the new group of voices, but thank God I was wrong.

As far as emoting went, Kayzie's Ash did a far superior job to Sarah's from that time frame. You know, back when she was still getting a handle on emotions. :p

This clip only shows how much more intense an episode feels with the original japanese music and silences.

And it was shocking how Kayzie on Mystery dungeon Special was close to Veronica Taylor's Ash. Heh.

I bet some people thought that after this special PUSA would've kept the entire Japanese music, no dub added, no silence covered, but no... Well at least PUSA has been keeping silence in a few episodes (most notable one was in "Buizel Your Way Out Of This" which was actually longer than in the Japanese version).

That reminds me, didn't Maddie Blaustein bad mouth the music used in Mastermind of Mirage? I think I remember saying something like the music was "terrible" and... ugh, "4kids could make better music".

Was Maddie not aware that she was bad mouthing music made by the Japanese composers? Or is it that she just really hates the original background music?

Yep! I couldn't agree with you more! ^^

That's true as well.

In the MD special, I couldn't believe how close Kayzie's voice was to Veronica's Ash. She actually did a great job with Squirtle's voice! I was impressed! ^_^

Also, in one episode of D/P, there's a random boy who Kayzie voiced. And he sounded VERY CLOSE to Veronica's Ash. I was like "Wow! That's amazing! O_O" when I heard him speak.

May not seem like much but just in case I'm putting this voice opinion of mine under spoilers.=/
I notice that and I would agree she had more emotion than sarah when it came to Ash in Mastermind though unfortunately the type of emotion she did annoyed me alot. Sarah's Ash voice didn't annoy me.

Kayzie's other characters were okay and squirtle from MD was very good and I wonder why she never used that for Ash. Pity she never got a chance at trying again on Ash.

Interesting anyway to see how far things came over the years however.

May's voice made me laugh. she sounds like a screwed up version of Dawn's mom. well, thats my opinion...
