''Kaze no Message'' CD/DVD release date announced: Ending theme will be paired with new song May 28

Pikachu Records (Media Factory) has announced a May 28 Japanese release date for a limited-edition CD and DVD featuring Kaze no Message (Message of the Wind), the current Pokémon Diamond & Pearl ending theme song by Mai Mizuhashi. The CD will also feature two new songs, Konoyubitomare ('Let's Get Together) by Akiyoshi Fumie, and Pokémon March Medley, an instrumental. Konoyubitomare will be the song featured in the coloring contest results shown at the end of Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet: Shaymin.

Kunihiko Yuyama stated last year in an interview that 'Together' is extremely popular in Japan, so it's unlikely a new opening will air anytime soon.

If they're not going to change the song then update the video. I don't see why that's so hard.

I was really hoping for a full version of the Winter theme of Kimi no Soba de, but it'll be nice to get two new songs.

Let's Get Together for new Opening theme, imo.

It's already being used for the coloring contest. They wont use that for the OP as well.

I hope I can get it on amazon.com. They usually have japanese and american Pokemon cds

but isn't odd that the same singer for Together sings "このゆびとまれ" too? it might just be the new opening theme, like how long will Together be the opening theme, its going to be 76+ episodes including the 10th movie, like many people are getting tired of it, just like Hikari's theme.....for Advanced Generation we already have the second opening theme and three ending themes (for DP its 2 ending themes or 4 ending themes {if you count the two other versions of Hikari's theme}).....

Can't wait for the full version of Kaze no Message! I am really hoping that there will be BGM on there, though. As the whole track list hasn't been confirmed, is there a chance the new opening theme be on there? They'll be near DP080 by then...unless this really is going to be the longest series

Oh cool, they sell Japanese CDs? I might buy it there, then

Sorry to bump, but just got my "We have shipped your order" notice from CDJapan, so the CD should be in people's hands within the next few days/weeks (depending on delivery times).

Sweet, I can't wait. I wonder how "Konoyubitomare" and "Pokémon March Medley" will sound.

I'll try to pick this up on my way home from work today.

I really like the non Poka-Poka version of the song, so I'll be quite happy to have a full version of that on CD.

Kono Yubi Tomare has been confirmed as the Colouring Contest Theme for M11. Also to make this clear, there are 2 versions of the CD. The limited edition of the CD comes with a DVD, the other is the regular single version. Both CD's contain different tracks, so if you want all the songs, you need to buy both CD's.

Picked up the CD.

01) Kaze no Message - I really like the full version of this song. Middle part's a bit weird, though.
02) Kono Yubi Tomare - It's a typical "woman sings while a chorus of kids sing after her" Pocket Monsters song. Nothing too special.
03) Kaze no Message (Poka Poka Version) - Pretty much the same as the original version, really.
04) Pokemon March Medley - This song is basically a bunch of the older theme songs compiled into one song and played marching band style. The opening songs are Kono Yubi Tomare, Advance Adventure, Together, Kimi no Soba de ~Hikari's Theme~, Spurt!, Polka Odoru ka, Challenger!!, Soko ni Sora ga Aru Kara, Battle Frontier, and, for some reason, Kono Yubi Tomare again.
05) Kono Yubi Tomare (Original Karaoke) - Meh.

I would love to hear the full version of Kaze no Message.

But I think I'll be able to hear it soon.

Ordered the DVD + CD. *nods*

Se... seriously? '_' Has this been confirmed 100% instead of just going off what websites say? Not that I don't trust or believe you, I'm just a bit hesitant to have to spend $13 + shipping for what's more or less the same CD as one I just bought...

I like the first verse more because it's completely Engrish-free. But of course, they HAD to put Engrish in the second one.

Why have different track listings between the versions? Methinks the CD makers are taking a leaf out of Game Freak's book...

I ordered the DVD version because March Medley sounds more interesting and I'm not into the instrumental versions of songs.
