Ah, I remember "Showdown In Dark City" like it was yesterday. Tom Ato, two gyms, the Nurse Joy in the trenchcoat and....Ketchup bottles? That's right, Ketchup bottles.

The story behind the love:

The four friends sat down to have something to eat. Ash was eating a tomato which lacked ketchup. He turned to his best friend, Pikachu, and asked it if it could put some more ketchup on his tomato.

Well that did it.

It was love at first sight.

Pikachu basically dumped the entire bottle of ketchup on Ash's tomato. Ash had to hold it down and take the ketchup away. But Pikachu wouldn't give up. It grabbed hold of the ketchup bottle when Ash wasn't looking and ran off. Pikachu was seen with teh ketchup bottle for the rest of the day.

Until a tragic event took place.

A Scyther was slashing wildly at an Electabuzz, but Pikachu was caught in the crossfire. Bravely, the ketchup bottle sprang in front of Pikachu and took the blow for it. With a sickening crack, the ketchup bottle split in two, the contents spilling out all over the nice clean floor, dying in Pikachu's arms. Pikachu began to cry for its love, and with a heavy heart, tossed in the nearest trash can and forced itself to move on.....


Basically, this ship is proof the shippers will ship anybody with anything. One of my favorite Pikachu ships, along with Pikashipping.

Picketshipping is very cute, I must say. The Yas and Kas Gym epsiode was awesome because of it (well, it was awesome before that, but ya know...)
 
I believe in this ship, but not as an example that shippers will ship anything, but because Pikachu loved that ketchup, and that ketchup loved Pikachu.
Everybody loves their ketchup.
 
This is definately one of the more risque of the ships, I mean did you see how much tongue there was when the two kiss?

This is exactly what I thought when searching pictures, and tried to be careful of what I picked for the pics because of this.
 
Dude yes! best episode evah. the poor ketchup cut down in its prime! there was so much left to do! so many fries to be poured on... i mourn for thee ketchup...
 
I like how Pikachu was still after him even in AG.
 
This ship sounds oddly interesting...might I ask which episode the ketchup appeared in?
